Im quite gobsmacked at some of the intial posts to this , you can support a political party and only support a few of their idea's (even if some are quite radical). Example would be voting Labour and NOT supporting the troops moving in on Iraq.. Im no BNP supporter but saying "they get what they deserve" is just bigotry. There prolly many doctors and civil workers who have done alot of help.
I seen snippets on the news about some of the people o nthe list getting their cars burned outside their house...ironically turned out to be the neighboors car parked out side who wasnt a BNP supporter...
You dont believe that shit was sincere do you? I've been wanting rid of Labour a long time, at one point I was so distressed over the endless slaughter of human life that I would have been prepared to pull the trigger myself on Blair, if I didnt feel so alone in my perception of the situation - everyone was so blasse... like it didnt matter, so I figured that's just me getting out of my pram and I should maybe not do something so rash - like being a revolutionary.
However the fact that our political system is riddled with injustice, corruption, and all those other things indemmic with Democracy does not meen Democracy isnt the lesser of all evils. It's just sad that the two main parties of opposition are both war mongering scum. It doesnt make them good war mongering scum, of course there are endless policies I disagree with, most particularly Iraq: On which we should withdraw and try Tony Blair for war crimes (and Bush by proxy).
Crime on the street, thats just rhetorric. Crime has been dropping for years, it only really got out of control after WW2 when gang culture took control of London, but crime has been on the recession since. There are areas where it is bad, where Labour's social policy of mixed housing and others is trying to slowly tackle it. I dont like that policy, I dont think crime can be beat at least not to a significantly lower level than we have now, and I dont like having scum living at number 91 opposite me.
Oh and i love this southpark reference. Go watch the episode its full of ill-informed "right on'ers" saying dont be racist dont call them Goobacks, they only take the crappy jobs no body wants etc.... untill thy loose their jobs and then everyone unites and takes extreme measures to force them out as their country is turning to shit.
Olololol.
1)Why do I think you care 5haz? Because you have an urge to answer every post I make with some sort of attempt at flamebaiting. I suggest you learn to think before ya' post.
2) I put him (5haz) on my list because, unlike Kev and others, he was saying "omg u r racist", not actually reading my points (which were all valid!), and just pissing me off for the sake of it, probbably because he had no valid points to counter mine. He has no idea of politics (he's probbably 3 years old, and if he's not I suggest he learns to act his age). Do I think you care(5haz)? No of course not, and that's your problem. After a day or two of you not saying "omg racist" (5haz), I took you off my ignore list, because, after all, why should I block myself from viewing what may be worthwhile reading elsewhere on the forum? When I posted how this thread has gone from, somewhat aggressive, however on-topic discussion, to a load of off topic crap, back to on-topic arguments, I simply posted a comment and, as 5haz had posted a reply within a few minutes (as he would do before, he like spams f5 or something :really, I clicked 'view post' and saw that his sarcasm detector had broken. He needs to learn when there's no point in arguing anymore. It's called walking away. Because he didn't learn, I added him back to my list.
Do I care zueg if you think I added him or not? No. But for the record, I did actually add him, and all I can see if "5haz is on your ignore list can't see this post" spammed across this thread, and in fact most of this forum, but again, you know best!
My flamebaiting worked, for a while at least. His posts became increasinlgy filled with expletives, to my great amusement. I guess I am a bit sad that you denied me the right to wind you up.
Well I realised that he was too posessed by the Daily Mail's views to actually listen to a word I say, so I thought I may as well have some fun, his (initially) completely unprovoked personal insults did not help either.
I may have little idea of politics, but I do know that the BNP are racist and racism is BAD.
Given the number of personal insults he hurled my way, many including swearwords, perhaps I should have ignored him, but then again I'm not petty like that, I can disagree with someone without feeling the need to insult people I don't know and/or running away.
Yea you could call labelling someone a racist an insult, 'cept the difference is, labeling me a 3 year old is untrue 'cos i knows that I has been alives a bit longer than 3 years (unless they were 3 very long years), but if you defend the BNP's racist ways then you are racist as a fact!
I found it amusing how he turned to personal insults, something that somebody (myself included) usually does when they realise they can't win.
TBH All this thread has done (rather like the subject of the thread itself), has exposed some people as racists, methinks it should be locked before certain people dig themselves a hole all the way to China.
On the national service thing you do realise that the army has stated quite clearly that it does not want it.
They dont want the cost burden of training lots of people they'll never use, it would lower overall standards of the British Army, and leave them with the problem of what to do to nurse maid the unruly mobsters with authority issues, like members of the BNP for instance. The army doesnt want national service - it is not a creche for teenagers.
As much as i dislike Christians, their 'Christmas' festival now has almost nothing to do with the celebration of the birth of Christ and everything to do with spending as much money as possible, commercial greed on a massive scale and drinking yourself into oblivion.
Winter Festival seems far more appropriate these days.
Yes so miserably that people like you try to flame bait me because you cant find valid or interesting points to have a discussion like normal grown up people do.
Adam Walker a teacher at a school (a damn good teacher by all accounts) looks at a political party website (Bnp) on a school computer and get suspended. Would he have been in such hot water for looking at another parties site? However another teacher at the same school! looks at hard core porn sites IN A Lesson! and nothing is done! Democracy dont you just love it!
Lets see. You approve of their policy on the NHS. I've explained clearly why it wouldn't work. (by looking at not just their policy on the NHS but thinking about how it fits with their other policy's)
Result? You go quiet for a few hours and hope people wont realise you don't have a counter point.
A trend that has happened (and not just from you) every time someone has pointed out a perfectly valid reason why BNP policy's wont work.
While you're at it, why don't you act like a normal grown up and let us know what point you are making with your "happy winter festival" remark.
That's not making a point. That's vaguely insinuating something by stringing three words together.
Stop trying to paint yourself as the "normal" one. If your "normal" then give me the the abnormal people any day of the week.
this is the thing I find baffling about the publication of the list. Yes there are teachers on it, but as long as a) they aren't an activist engaged in illegal activities and b) don't bring their views into the classroom they should keep their jobs. They were doing their jobs fine before the list became public, and they should be able to continue to do their jobs. All these people calling for them all to be sacked need to put down their daily mails and take a step back and look at it. Yes you may not agree with the political party they've chosen to be affiliated with, but as long as the BNP is a legitimate party people will join it. Basic freedom of political choice. As long as you don't turn that choice into action, you should be fine
Brings to light the philosopher who said 'I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it' (or similar)
