Why it should not be repaired? Because i set to "no repair", its that simple.
In real they also do not repair everything in a race in a pitstop.

Did you ever drive a long race about 90minutes?

Then you would agree that it is a huge bug believe me.

It's definately not a feature.

Several people did report it, but it has not been fixed.

There is still the bug that if you set to "no repair" the pit repairs if you have setup changes

Man thats such a big bug and should have fixed with z, because it is important in a race

Very disappointing...

For me this patch is disappointing.

Too few and uninteresting features in too much time. I think AA and AF are very complicate to implement. So in the end it was a high time consumption for a feature which can be switched on with the graphics card. Of course it should be implemented in the game, but i would have done such things at the very end.

The replay functions are good and were really needed, thx for that.
But also here i do not understand why not all functions were implemented as buttons. Like fast forward, frame forward etc. !?

All together for me there is nothing special about this patch like all the others.

Even simple things like showing the fastest lap of the race while racing were not implemented, which could have easily done.

After the other patches i always had a "wow" effect. This time absolutely not.

Of course this does not change the situation that LFS is still the best feeling racing simulation in my point of view.

I am looking forward what will come next

Just lay it to the ß, ö, ä, ü key. Should be no problem for all

In my situation: No car repair set. set front wing -1 and they repaired although i woul not that.

Tested in in singleplayer and again!!!!!

It repairs if you want to change, although you set to "no repair".

I have found out a little help with F11. The handicap box is very small at the bottom. its not in the mirror, so its ok for my problem.

I am not quite sure if it is possible but it would helpfull if it is possible to assign the gap list to a key, so that you can switch it on or of while racing.

The problem is for me with my custom view and a race with about 15+ drivers the list overlays my right mirror.
Even if it is not going over you mirror, it is very long and disturbing i think.
I know that it is possible to turn it off in the menu, but then you have never the gaps in a race which is also not helpfull

If i could switch it on or of, i would only switch it on when driving on the start finish line, would be helpfull.

I will never understand how people can use the demo for days or longer!

After one day with the demo i knew its worth the little money and bought it the next day!

Where is the problem?

I would even do it like rFactor. The Demo for an hour, maybe two and then stop the possibility to use.
But i would agree with make it possible to drive the smallest open wheeler. After using it there would be more people convinced.

The devs have absolute nothing from people who just drive the demo all the days. My opinion of course.

Hi, i wonder how it is the best for a tyre in LFS.

Green colour of course, but has it to be green the whole tyre, or just the upper line?

I have seen that in cockpit view of fast drivers, the WRs for example, that they often have a blue tyre with a good green temperature at the top.

Is that the way it has to bee? I always thought in the past that it is better to have the complete tyre green, but it seems it should not.

+1 from me, because i often have this problem in league racing. Even i tried to take care of it but it happend.

I even wonder if it is a bug, which happen for some people, because some have absolutely nothing to do with it

and it is definately not the tyres in my case.

I would like to see a server side option to shut down traction control.

At the moment F1 has also not one, but thats not the point, especially they will have it back someday, and then again will not in some other years.

But what i really do not like is the situation in which the FO8 is much harder to drive than the BF1.

Of course i did not drive a F1 or a FO8 class car in real life, but i think its harder to drive a F1 in real live, and so it should in the "simulation"

I think the F1 should always be the king class.

Especially in league racing with the BF1 it would be better to have no traction control.

I am concerned a little that there maybe are some drivers in a league i drive who cheat, i have no hints or proves, but who knows?

I am afraid that with a cheat you could use it in a way others don't see maybe?

Just for getting a second or so...

Maybe it depends on the racing series. I know that in indyCars late 90s there was a drive-through, a 10-second-stop-and-go, and an stop-and-go.

I have seen it with my own eyes, so pls all stop saying that it is right, it is not. or at least not in some racing series.

Yes you are right. I also think that there are much more important things to code atm. I just wanted to mention it.

In case of the penalty it should be just a change of the string "Stop and go penalty" to "10-second stop and go penalty". This could be fixed in a few seconds i guess.

I have seen starts in F1 where drivers roll even just a little in front before green and there is no penalty. I somewhere someday read that you have a tolerance of about 30cm. So rolling backwards a little will definately not lead to an penalty in real racing.

Of course it was not on purpose and my own fault. But the situation is buggy

I have seen this 2 bugs this this evening in a race.

1) If you roll just a little backwards at start, the servers gives you a false start. Thats not realistic.

2) I got an "Stop and Go" Penalty. Well, the Stop and Go penalty is not a stop and go. I tried it. You have to stop 10 seconds. So this should be called "10-second stop and go". A small but fine difference which forced me to do a second stop and annoyed me much

OK, i just was on one server now where i got just a drive through penalty instead of spectator.

The server was called "Framaris Racing". The F and R were red. the other letter yellow. Hope you find it and can ask a admin for further details.

If i will drive again on this server i will give you the name and you can try to find the admin and ask him how he has managed it.

I am not sure at the moment which one it was, but i am sure to find it, probably it is with the help of an own or third party tool.
