On the leagues section on the website there is a My Signups. Maybe Victor can add an iCalendar entry there with the signed up events that can be subscribed by any calender software (Outlook, iCal, etc.). Then there so no need for an email notification.
What if you add an "Info" button and display the league information in an popup window if this is possible. For the FragMaster events the mendatory Discord is discribed in the league information.
I have send Daniel-CRO an private message some time ago and have ask for the source code if he is willing to share it. I'm a professional software developer myself and I think is would be a simple task for me to get LFSLazy working again. But saidly I have received no response.
I'm wondering why the source code for tools like LFSLazy or AIRIO is not on GitHub or Gitlab, so that other people can help, or when the original author does not have time or lost interest, that other can take over.
I found in the InSim.txt that there is a option so set the replay to a certain position. It should not be that hard to create a tool that does that stuff.
On problem remains. The backward is not very fast. AFAIK the replay does not contain the position of the cars at a certain point of the race. The positions are calculated with the inputs (steering, throttle, break, etc). So if you rewind the replay, all the stuff is calculated from the beginning of the replay.
I have watched the replay now multiple times, because I was in the car behind. Azyer had a poor first corner and I was about 5 kph faster on the straight. And pulled to right for the overtake. As I was beside Azyer he also pulled to the right and I was already beside him, so we collided and he pushed me to the right. I stayed on the right and we reached the braking zone for the second corner. During braking there was first enough room on the right, but Azyer pulled again to the right during braking (here the video starts) and therefor we collided a second time. This causes the flipover for him that is very unfortunate.
If anybody is interested in watching the replay: It is Lap 94 in the replay and starts at: 2:05:10
I'm wondering if it would make sense to do at lease one race longer then 3 hours. Maybe 6 hours?
I think that for a 3 hours race you do can do this race alone, but for a 6 hours race I would prefer to race it as a team of two drivers.
If your idea is that you get more drivers for this event by doing only 3 hours races, it's fine with me.
I use a 4K display and the fonts do not look very nice there because of the low resolutions. With the update of the font system are the fonts rendered with HiDPI?
I had in mind the the devs are the owners for the github organization. This was the reason why I first posted here before I took the action to create it ;-)
I have moved the code from the jinism library now to github. I wondering if it would make sense if we create a LiveForSpeed organization on github, where all the open source libraries and tools that relates to Live For Speed are hosted?
Note: I have renamed the packages from net.sf to org.openbakery (Maybe we could also use net.lfs if the devs are ok with this)
I have not yet created a binary, but a simple 'gradle jar' will create one. (You need to have installed gradle see http://grade.org)
I have also updated the Tracks class to support the new Westhill configs.
(To a moderator: I think it would make sense to create a new JInSim thread here, because I cannot edit the first post, but I find it useful that the first post include latests informations.)
I wanted to update my email address and for this is I have opened the 'Personal Details' in the profile. I have change the address and pressed 'Update account'. I received a mail to verify the address, but when I clicked the 'Click here to update your LFS account' link I was back in the 'Personal Details' page with the old address.
If Eric decides to fill these, it would be a cool thing if we can send him photos of us, so that he fills the grandstands with people who really drives and likes LFS.
(I think there are enough people here in the forum that will help with the preparation of the photos like cut-out, etc)
