Yeah, when I was stationed (and racing) in Japan, it was the exact same. The only difference was that I had to shift toward me, instead of away from me. I actually liked it better that way. Oh, and about that shifter, my BMW here, first is still all the way left and up, but if you pull it hard to the left, and push it up, it will pop into reverse (don't know if I explained that well enough). Not all cars are that way though, and I haven't driven any japanese cars that way either.
18. If you can remember a few* years back, when still in highschool, spending CAD class modelling an XFG and skinning it with your normal racing skin you'd saved on a floppy disk...
Excellent movie mate! Me and the Fiancee watched it. It had her gasping sometimes, hehe. Great work on the souds man, I loved the sync of the damage and skidding sounds. Best one I've seen in a long time.
Hmm... Well, worst loss has to be when my friends decided to make a surprise visit to my house. They busted into my room with paintball guns already firing. I did, however, get them back later when I took all their money racing in REAL cars, haha.
(Avitar still shows best win though. Gosh that guy was a great sport about it.)
Yeah, and thank you LX month for inspiring this Avatar that I will not change, because that has to be one of the most exciting bits of racing I've had in a LONG while in LFS. Good thing you are a great driver, and didn't just run me off the track.
Just convert the songs you want in LFS from MP3 or whatever, into .ogg files. Then there's no re-naming required, just drop them in LFS/data/ogg folder.
My song folder (should I choose to turn the in-game musik on) has almost 200 songs to choose from so far... allthough I can't be arsed to put more in, as you don't really need 200 songs in a game that you hardly ever listen to musik whilst playing anyways.
Well, I'm obviously an S2 licensed racer, but I cannot unlock S2. I just got a new HDD, and managed to save my old LFS folder from reformat, but now it won't unlock S2 and I've got 2 activations left. All it does is come up with an ingame window that says "Unknown Command" with only an OK button under it. I'm definately sure I'm typing both the username and password correctly, and I'm really anxious to get it up again, and start playing the new patch.
Nah, no regrets here. I got mine playing Counter-Strike YEARS ago. Not because I'm an arse or something, because I'm not usually, but because I'd be in a server for half an hour and all I'd hear was "I hate you" directed at me, so I changed my name.
Wow, I'm a huge F1 fan and all, but when Le Mans is going, I don't give a damn about practice and qualifying. When the race starts, you'll know the result of the Quali, so what's it matter? There's so much that you can miss in the hours that the coverage is broken!
Yeah, I agree Andy, I haven't seen it used often in a long while either. I hope it doesn't make a comeback while I'm at BUDs though, it'd be disappointing to come back to something like that.
I just don't see why someone who lives in a country that uses Metric, would even bother with a suggestion like that. It shouldn't even make a difference to them anyways. Generally from experience, it's the driver's choice for the display anyways whether it's Metric or Imperial.
