There were many people using LFS at the time and this was your chance to reserve a name for your license. I'm sure that many people reserved more than one name, just in case they'd need it. As for no forums, well, there was one and it's still there. http://forum.racesimcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=205
The dates were carried over from the name registration date at lfs.net, which is not the same as the day you became licensed. I've been #48 since the day I signed up.
What about them? Someone's join date at RSC is the date they joined RSC and does not correspond to a join date here. Unless the system here has changed, my join date looks to be the same as the day I signed up for a racers name.
I've attached a scan of the cover in case anyone's interested. It doesn't look as bad in a graphics program vs. IE7 and I lost a 1/4 inch on the right, the magazine's wider than my scanner.
:ices_rofl Yep, nobody over at RSC likes LFS. illepall
Someday, people may actually know what they're talking about before posting. Have you ever stopped and wondered why the thread isn't in either section and instead can be found where it belongs???
Hrmm, posting as a demo user with an F08 spr you claim is your own... Seeing as this is a duplicate account of yours, you should use your S2 Licensed account from now on.
For those of you who have failed to read the 1st post in this thread, here it is again. Please note item 3....
Post skins here for the:BF1 (BMW Sauber) RULES:
ONLY Post Finished Skins
If you have a screenshot, please post the skin file also (not a requirement, but would be nice).
If you have the files hosted elsewhere, please DO NOT use [IMG] tags for screenshots, etc. It will make the thread load slower for 56k users.
Try to keep the chatter to a minimum, new people are viewing this thread to find themselves a nice skin, they don't need to scroll through pages of text to finally find something. If you want to comment on someone's skin, that is fine, but please... everyone is exploring their own creativity and personal tastes, so be supportive.
So, he's a good example of why LFS fans are hated? Either put a cork in it or explain how telling someone FU could possibly improve the image of all these so-called hated LFS fans... If you complain about the posts someone keeps making by dragging yourself down to the same level you see them at, you're no better.
If you dislike Kids posts so much, you could always try the smart thing and 'ignore' him.
The only thing you can do is to make them use your setup (a good one), make sure you're set to "Pro" and let them drive lap after lap. They speed up quite a bit compared to new AI, but are never all that fast.
Go to the Misc menu and play with your "minimum sleep". If it's at '0', raise it a little bit and your gameplay may become a bit smoother. Go too high and it'll lower your FPS.
What kind of FPS are you getting now? After a quick look, the settings to disable wheels/trees/flags/rubber are hurting you. Setting them to mirror or all will increase your framerate. If you choose 'mirror' you'll still see them in front of you, choosing 'all' will totally disable them. Turning the 'multiplayer speedup option' on may also help a bit.
C'mon, at least try to be realistic here and use some common sense. You say someone won't walk away from a 10mph impact??? Yeah, maybe if you hit a knife sticking out of your dash. Don't forget about the added safety of items such as bumpers, crush zones, aibags (although they probably wouldn't go off) etc etc. As an example, I've run into solid objects going at least that fast, gotten up and continued to move on.
Edit: All that momentum coming to a stop will affect the damage to the car and tree, not the driver.
