Is it possible to list and ban IP's of idiots on a server?

We have a demo and a full, unfortunately the demo occasionally gets lumbered with the odd moron from time to time, i can kick / ban by name but all they do is alter name to get in again.

It's possible it may be a firewall issue that preventing you seeing. I would check that out 1st.

Not trying to pimp at all, but there seems a few into flight sims. One i play is an arcade based one, free to download and play. (Air Attack, or as was known Fighter Ace 1.0) Getting on a bit now but for a good adrenaline burst its good fun.

Both Free for all and teams action - leagues etc etc.

You are like me, i am new to this also and likewise i am on mouse and keys at present. Unfortunately you like me need some analogue controller to help control accelaration etc. some cars i find such as the Fo8 i find using a manual shift and start off in a higher gear helps - certainly on the Oval.

I'm going to use my Ps Wheel and hope that helps

I read somewhere on here, although can't seem to find where now, that someone managed to create a nukeblock which allows you to see who is playing in a server. Just wondered if so, would there be any chance of a copy of the block for my site please.

I havent been able to get into either CS or BF2, have them both, but they are just gathering dust. BF2 to me is just Desert Combat with nicer gfx.

Need to play Il2 more though, just seems too many games but no time to fit them all in any longer - trouble when you have demanding kids/wife/job etc (well the 1st two anyway)

Looks very good. I have the original Lock-On, although can't quite get into it.

Hope this turns out to be as good as it looks.

just thought out of curiosity i'd ask what other games people play or is it all LFS/Driving types?

Personally i have just got into LFS and blummin good it is.

Personally, i play 2 types of games, flight sims -Air attack the main one which is free to get and play online (old but good) & IL2 which is ultra realistic on hardest settings.

The other is call of Duty, an excellent FPS which we run a few servers for different mods of the game.

Beyond that as i am getting on, i play a lot of old classic retrogames mainly for the speccy.

Unless i'm wrong, all i do is add the server pass from the main menu then when you enter the server the pass is there. (making sure the password is in your dedicated.txt)

Then in-game just /whatever command you want.

So just give pass to those who you wish to have it.

If i'm wrong i'm sure someone will corrrect me soon.

Seems that a wheel is the way to go, thought it would be but always good to get an opinion of those who play it often.

I tred a few different cars last night just to get a 1st impression (empty servers so not to annoy any one playing serious) - some are so hard to control, i havea PS2 wheel so i may get an adapter to use that on the pc and see how that goes.

Angel - yeah, i thought it would be a commonly asked question - about 2 seconds after i pressed submit, should have searched i guess.

Same on the main forums i haunt, generally get the stock questions, week in week out as here though always people willing to reply without getting irksome about it. plus it gives an oportunity to post their goodies again.
