thanks all for the help, I just went ahead and renamed them all. I pretty much scratched all my F1 sets seeing as they are useless.

well I'm doing something wrong when trying to get that to work...I guess Ill just have to manually rename these all....

I got out of LFS for a half a year or so, and I recently downloaded the Y patch and transferred some of my old files over and started it up, it all works fine and dandy but for some reason all of my old sets won't show up in LFS except (this has me completely stumped) my LX6 sets.......OF COURSE the car I dislike the most. lol.

I just don't know what to do, I'm terrible at making sets...I'd be completely lost without the ones I have now....I still have all of them in my old folders. Anyone got any ideas?

ok now that im here at my computer, when I come to"show the following volume controls" I see the following:

CD Player
Microphone
Aux
Line In
Phone
Mono Out
Wave Out Mix

I selected Microphone and Wave out mix, and it didn't work..im not sure what to do...illepall

I figured out, I just had to select Wave Out Mix...thanks for the help anyways

I bought a Logitech headset for gaming a while back, and for some weird reason, while playing a Voice Clip in MSN, or in a Voice Chat on MSN or AIM, I could have my Headset plugged into the mic and sound jack, and I could play music through the headset, but the other person could hear it clear as day!...but then a couple days ago, while in a voice chat with my freind, it suddenly stopped working, and I have no idea how to fix it illepall...does anyone have any clues as to what I can do?

im guessing you are just hosting a server and no one can see/join.

the problem is just in your firewall or...idk whatever

you need to take the port number when you are starting the server, and make a hole in your firewall with that port number.

First of all, the problem is; unban doesn't seem to work, at least in demo
(the only place i've had to use it :rolleyes...does it only work in the full version since you can go by license names?

Also, for the question portion of today's show, I'm not really sure how some of the admin commands work, and how exactly do I enter them...so, is there a list, or possibly a thread somewhere that describes all the admin commands and how to enter them?

Im fine with "kick" "ban" "spectate" "msg" and things, but with...like weather, and laps...how do I do that?

I was wondering how you make a command that makes it say something in huge letters in the middle of the screen...like, where it says STOP-GO PENALTY, or ____ FINISHED IN 1:25.00...im not sure if im explaining that very well, but I know there is a command for that, I've seen people say things using that, but I have no idea how to do it...what the heck is the command? illepall

Oh christ, nevermind I solved it myself :doh:

I had to reformat my computer and now I'm having a problem with LFS not detecting the pedals for my MOMO steering wheel, yes they are plugged in because they work with other games. I also want them to be on separate axis. Any help as to what the problem is?
