piggy, although you used the red which came with the decal from BOTW, it's the wrong red. I've worked with Parcel Force and they're livery is definately more 'Ferrari' red if you like. Well they're usually black 'cause they never clean their vehicles but meh, they're definately more of a proper red.

Based on the new Aston Martin DBR9 in Gulf livery.

As the label says it's free to use, but I'd rather people didn't edit it at least without asking me.

Hi. I have been searching all night for a 2008 FW30 Williams F1 skin for the FBM or the BFM.
Please can someone point me in the right direction if they have already been skinned, or if they haven't been done yet could someone please have a go.
I have found last years cars livery and the 2008 testing colours, but as yet nothing for this seasons race livery.

What are your all-time favorite race cars, and is there any particular reason for your choices?

I've got a lot to list, so I'll just put up a couple for now. Starting with the car that made me fall in love with racing as a wee lad in the first place, the Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo. I saw this beast at Mosport in the late 80s. I couldn't have been more than a couple years old at the time, and it is without doubt my earliest memory of anything. This is the car that started it all for me, and as such holds a special place in my heart. Looks badass, too It's probably one of the reasons that I still love prototypes more than any other sort of racing vehicle; especially closed cockpit cars. Pretty advanced for its time, too; look at the aero management in the front end, it's very similar to today's prototypes.

Another one is the Lotus 49. There's several reasons for this. Jim clark was my father's hero as a kid, and that idolization has been hereditary, it seems, even though I am much, much too young to have ever seen Clark behind the wheel. While not the first car to use its engine as a structural piece, it was the first one to really make it work. Additionally, it is the car that first started the dominance of the Cosworth DFV, which was successful well into the late 70s and even into the 80s as the choice of privateer teams. While not unique to this particular car (for obvious reasons) it also signifies the end of an era; its first season of use being the last full season of the non-winged Formula 1 cars. It's success throughout many seasons is another admiral quality, as well as the innovations throughout; for instance, the first car to employ the use of wings (with mixed success, admittedly). It was also the vessel for the coming of mass-commercialism in motorsport in the form of a livery (we've all seen the Gold Leaf Lotus ). Take that as a good or bad thing, it definitely had a major impact on motorsport. Like the Nissan, it's damned good looking, too.

There's many, many more I could list, but I'll stop there for now. What do you guys have to list? I'm keen to see. Don't think you have to post vintage or upper-tier cars, either; if last year's Formula Vee championship car is your favorite, post it!

Of the teams that will be racing this season, I must say that Williams have the best livery of all of them. I'm really not fond of the new Force India livery, though - they should've kept the interim one with the nice deep red on it, in my opinion.

Today, Slide-FX managers have been productive and got two members aboard. Please Welcome Kaneda and HighRoad to the team! Kaneda is the original founder of Slide-FX, the Montreal JDM Club of 2003, and he also plays LFS since 2003. He had no luck in the last month with his computer but he slowly get back into LFS and is a worthy value for the team. HighRoad, on the other side, is a fairly new LFSer with low milleage but a solid drifting experience and will sure bring something positive to the team. Both driver will have their livery done pretty soon, and will be shown in this thread as soon as they are completed. We wish you guys a good time in Slide-FX and we hope to have you around for a long time.

For me it's the best livery so far.

EDIT: One thing i didn't remember about that livery, is the snakes tongue going all down the side there.

A few little bits of news.

We would like to annouce our special IGTC racing livery, please find renders attached

On a similar note, Adaptive racing had a very productive evenings racing last night in the IGTC test race, where our drivers T.Liigman (d6nn) and H.Makriyiannis ([GR] Evolution), put on a very nice performance to claim 1st place, although this is only a test race, we were still very happy with our performance in the teams first ever endurance racing event, we hope that this is a sign of things to come, great racing fellas.

Also, we would like to announce the signing up of a new driver Art ([RF]-art555), in a recent trial, Art has shown himself to be a valuable addition to the team, and will help strenghen the squad for upcoming team leagues.

Welcome Art.

Our team website is currently under going a complete overhaul, and is almost ready for launch, we are hoping that this will improve our current online presence.

All future news will be posted in the this thread, rather than making new threads all the time
