I remember having a clutch go to the floor when racing, after getting the clutch out and missing a race the old man finally believed me saying it was just the clutch cable that had fallen off when the clutch turned out to be fine.
What I mean is, could the clutch cable have loosened (hence the gear change getting harder and harder), and then rev matching afterwards finally knackered it, although I don't see how rev matching could so quickly destroy and otherwise healthy clutch?
Overall its a shame that what is essentially a scientific debate has become a largely political one, with skeptics seemingly asociated with the right and believers asociated with the left. It'd be nice if those involved were concerned with investigating the potential link between climate change and human activity rather than clouding the situation with personal or political beliefs.
I wonder if certain members would say the same if it was Hamilton or Alonso's mistake? You'd be jumping to their defence because they've had their turn at being the young upstarts that everyone takes shots at, now that place belongs to Vettel until the next kid comes along.
Vettel Blitzkrieg! Button didn't see the jerry at his six o'clock.
I think Vettel has more than proved he is worthy of an F1 drive, but I like to see Button do well.
But you just can't write off an entire driver's career on one mistake. I laugh at this F1 hooliganism thats developed where a driver makes a human mistake and from that you can all apparently see and judge every part of his character. This is why none of you are important, just pricks on an internet forum.
A man steps into a train car and asks if there is a Catholic priest onboard, "why, is somebody dying?" asks the guard, "No" says the man... "I'm looking for a bottle opener".
