"British" signifies citizenship, not ethnicity, and does not necessarily mean Anglo-Saxon. He has the citizenship => he is British (in this case, of Grenada descent).
EDIT:
On topic, great drive from Lew1s in the UK Grand Prix. And I'm not a fan.
Just wanted to say thanks to everybody involved with the pack. My LFS got borked so I had to reinstall it, and I decided to try out the hi-res textures . I am glad I did the game looks really good now.
+1. Make existing track surfaces higher-res (the little bump at the last turn of Aston Cadet is the best feature of the track next to the corkscrew, especially in an MRT).
However, the fact that the devs have been offered a laser-scanned real track for free and turned it down is really sad.
The trees/etc. may not be EXACTLY to scale. In-game camera may have a different FOV than IRL camera, so trackside objects close to the edges of the shot will look different. I wouldn't draw any conclusions from the discrepancies in these shots.
I have a feeling that many folks think Solstice is "boring" because it's American. However, according to this video, the platform is really not bad--the only complaint Tsuchiya had was overly long gears, which as I understand is fixable as soon as your safety rating is a bit up.
I have to side with Shotglass on this issue. I was hoping for a very impressive damage model, and we got the same ersatz as in other sims. At the same time, stupid GRID has body panels flying off, etc (not saying it's realistic, but a damage model with a proper visual manifestaion is long overdue in sims).
The standard subscription is 2 cars, 4 ovals and 4 road courses, the rest you have to buy later. I don't see how it's the same amount of content as LFS demo.
The point you made about iRacing's content is bullshit. So was your "comeback", btw--neither sharp nor humorous. I hope this post is clearer than the previous one.
