He was in Bahrain and if he hadn't stood his ground at Spa he probably would have been later in the season. Despite what you think I reckon Hamilton will now think twice before taking it for granted that Rosberg will back out.
Haha, good one. Look, Hamilton's conduct, both on and off the track, is a terrible parody of Senna. Senna is Hamilton's idol and has been for a long time. He thinks that if he plays psychological games (e.g. 'I wish you could see Rosberg's data [from Monaco qualifying], 'Rosberg isn't really German', 'Rosberg lacks hunger'), ignores team orders (e.g. using an engine mode he wasn't supposed to in order to try and gain an unfair advantage over Rosberg) and drives too aggressively, in particular at the Bahrain GP (where he over-stepped the line at least once and probably two or three times). Rosberg has to try and show that he's not going to stand for being pushed off the track again. It just so happened that this time the contact cut Hamilton's tyre, but that's the luck of the draw. As mentioned above, how many times have we seen similar sort of contact this year without any real impact?
Given how much kerb drivers have been taking in the last few years perhaps Maldonado thought he would be able to run over them and keep control of the car. At the point where he attempts to rejoin there would have been about enough space to make the move stick, as Hamilton jinked right. The understeer as the car bottoms out on the kerb is the reason why it looks like Maldonado t-boned Hamilton. If he was really trying to t-bone him why would he have about 90 degrees of left steering lock in the car at the time?
Hence why I said:
edit: Incidentally, I do believe Rosberg should take the majority of the blame for the incident at the weekend. However, I also think it was important for him to establish the fact that he won't take Hamilton's shit any more.
Hamilton and Maldonado Valencia 2012. I know this clip isn't a direct comparison to the incident on the weekend (because in this clip Maldonado is in a much better position), but it's worth posting anyway, as an example of Hamilton's inability to handle certain situations.
Perhaps if you were really a fan of this simulator you'd buy a license, rather than continuing to use the demo for 3 years. That would open up a large number of options for you (tracks, cars, maybe more online action).
More dodgy track limits policing today. Vettel was taking the piss at a few corners on a load of laps. Rosberg was 'asked' to give back a place after getting the position by going off track, but Button did the same thing later to pass Perez and there was no investigation. Pathetic.
There would probably be serious licensing issues surrounding this type of streaming capability being part of LFS (just look at the the unfolding Twitch/muting VODs with copyrighted music furore). If you really want to stream music on the server you can do so using 3rd party applications, but obviously that relies on all your visitors choosing to listen to your music stream. Incidentally, I wouldn't enjoy the server I was on being able to control what I listen to. Some people wouldn't want to listen to any music at all and others would like to listen to their own choice of music.
