There is a valid account for tomt610 found on LFS World. I agree with Daniel, in that it appears you've mistyped your username. Maybe you should copy/paste it into the username field?
A Journey of 2 Halves - Strathaven to Muirkirk & Back. Doing a bit of testing with the G1WH dashcam I got a couple of weeks ago. It could do with a higher bitrate in certain situations (it records at around 12Mbps with the default firmware, but there's a possibility to flash it with another which records at 15Mbps). Also seems to struggle quite a lot when the sun is in the frame (or near the edge) in terms of contrast/saturation. There isn't a lot of latitude to work with contrast/saturation in post because of the default picture style settings (which I don't think you can change). Still, for £35 it still does a pretty decent job.
Ever since I saw videos of the Red Bull X2010 in GT5 I wanted to drive something like it. I don't own a PS3/4, so modding in AC seems like a decent way to get there. For that Mugello lap the mod isn't that advanced, but I have done a bit of experimenting with some active aerodynamics and more interesting features. It's quite enjoyable to try and keep something that's about 30 seconds per lap faster than the 2012 F1 testing times on track at Mugello, especially when you're trying to stick within (somewhat) realistic physics settings.
Unfortunately they're adding and/or fixing features which should have been part of the initial MP release a lot of the time. Things like server control of tyre wear/fuel usage, content checks to (try and) prevent cheating online, chat functionality, admin control (kick/ban).
I don't have anything to add to the thread other than to say thanks to Eric. I've spent countless hours enjoying your creations and have some great memories that wouldn't have been possible without your talents
It could work out well if: a) He brings enough American money to allow Marussia to get rid of Chilton and let him have a race seat or b) if he gets Bianchi's race seat if/when he moves on to his next team in (potentially) mid-2015 or 2016.
Source? Didn't you see my post on the subject of the 'incorrect' timestamp on the video? Or did you see it and choose to ignore it (possibly because I'm obviously a CIA plant who's here to try and brainwash people into accepting the almighty US and A as their personal saviour)?
F1 drivers (and drivers in most feeder series, really) have been trained to expect safety cars in incidents like this over the years, so they've lost a great deal of respect for the flags. If you look at some of the onboards following the spin (when double-waved yellows were being shown), cars are still passing at near racing speed. As I said above, double-waved yellows would be sufficient to recover this car, but only if the drivers respected the flags.
If drivers actually respected yellow flags there would have been no need for a safety car. The sad fact is that they don't (just like they don't respect any other number of aspects of driving these days...). F1 was lucky yesterday. There was also quite a significant amount of debris on track, which could have cut tyres quite easily. I don't buy into the Rosberg/conspiracy angle at all; I just think the officials gambled on not deploying the SC when they should have.
It's a very inelegant system. Servers which are in the 'no booking' mode automatically allocate all the server slots even if there aren't people on the server to fill them. On the server list they appear full. When you join you take one of the empty slots which has been pre-allocated. It seems as though the dev team think this is a satisfactory approach to the problem of allocating resources on the fly (i.e. it's a way to stop join lag and associated problems for those on the server).
