In Germany there is a huge catalogue of forbidden things and symbols which are connected with Hitler and the 3rd Reich, "Blood and Honour" and all the other nazi stuff.The nazi flag versions are forbidden (by law), so the so called neo-nazis show the imperial flags instead on their demonstrations.
Both flags (also the imperial) are judged to be offending in Germany.
