Sorry was typing too fast and finished doing super pi and running orthos looks stable though going to post Pi results now in Super Pi section

well he bought his pc over to my house to see which one does my XRT render faster and his 3.0ghz 6420 beat my 3.1 ghz by 1:30 and both running 2003R2 with brazil and max9 and same stuff except for the cpu's

EDIT:now running 6420 at 3.33 ghz with same temps as my 2200 and he has 30fps more in lfs with same x1650 with same 600gpu and 533ram clock (he has demo) and mine is pro his 1650 is just normal one adn i had to down clock from 650 to 600

edit-2: seems that 6420 has a lower multi. and higher cache size so thats why it beat mines mind you my 2200 i am about to Return now was 9X multi (i lowered it).....gonna do another PI calculation to see what's what

Well I wasn't impressed with my e2200 and my friend gave me an E6420 free because he upgraded to a Q6600 so in terms of performance how better is the 6420 than the 2200 now running at 3.1GHZ

bumping down the multiplier did the trick and going more than 400 fsb kills it and set it back to 398 and now running at 3ghz with same temps WOHOO

edit: set memory to 2.17v seems to run better with that

XMS2 ddr2800 and a crappy MSI 945GCM5V

gonna upgrade later if i get a full atx case

ok gonna run prime95 for full 14 hours and see the results and log the temps with TAT

Seems to be running stable for my observations now running at 2.68 GHZ with 44-ish on idle and about 63 sometimes reaching to 67 on 100% load used TAT and core temp to measure and core temp seems to be reporting the t junction to be 85 degrees

thnx Gonna try doing a 400mhz oc and see what the temps go upto and if good maybe go for more

As the title says I have no idea of the tjunction of e2200's I need to be 1000% clear before i overclock and not turn it into a 100dollar peice of harjun HELP!!!!

killing aero made a BIG difference just look at the chart almost 2 secs cut down to 22.906

Intel E2200 Dual core (will overclock to 3.56 GHZ and not harjun it!!)
2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 (EDIT-havent ordered a ram yet gonna see if i change my mind later and get something else)
MSI 945GCM5-F (had to choose a normal mobo b/c salvaged the old hp case to put a micro ATX)
ATI GFX card salvaged from the old config
another 250 making it to three 250GB Hdd's
freezer7 pro salvaged from the old config
Silverstone Zeus SST 560 watt psu (planning to put a 8800 gtx or the new 9 series once i have time to buy a Full ATX case with new mobo)

and thats it basically

It's the angle bit that's all didn't have time to set it up to make it look good only concentrated on the lighting bit

Finished reading another book about studio lighting this one seems to cover the lighting a bit more so first try to make a studio environment see attachment

EDIT: Rendering another one with better light positions and higher subdivisions gonna render that over night and post it in the morning

yea that the cd I bought from dosch designs was a studio hdri maps but cant seem to get the right one that fits the scene perfectly

Finished my 200 boring pages about 3ds max lighting and environment and fixed my lights and environment maps and some more tweaks to the cars here and there enjoy a new wallpaper for the holidays
