I have noticed something similar.
In the server cfg I can set BL1/XRG and on LFS desktop it is shown as a demo server however demo users cannot join.
By changing /mode= (in server cfg) to demo the server is then visible to demo users even though I have not changed the maxguests and carsmax sections...

Yes, we have Airio on our S2 server and have prohibited non team members from using our tag. http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?p=1221189#post1221189

However, on our demo server we are running a S2 prize give away using the Fox Powered Ranking System (FPRS) that runs with lapper. So untill either the prize has been won or we upgrade to full Airio, we are stuck.

I am a B2R team member.
Although not being able to totally understand you, I will say that the B2R team is a group of fair and helpful people and I suspect you have been a victim of Goastseforce (team of people using our tag to create mayhem).
Without any evidence I cannot take any action. So, should you ever visit our demo server again and experience these kinds of problems, please save the replay.

These people have nothing to do with the B2R team...never were members and never will be.
Its a couple of kids calling themselves goatseforce.
They do the same at the B2R team server as well, when we ban their usernames they make new ones.
Sadly nothing can be done to stop people making duplicate accounts, only having admin on the server can stop them.

Just click on the time (pb) on your dektop and it offers you the option to delete it.

Yes, I am having the same problem.
Looking at the server list I have noticed quite a few of the servers (hosted by 500 servers) are down.
I have raised a ticket......hopefully whatever the problem is this time it will be resolved quickly.

As you know we do our best to keep our servers clean and fair but as it is possible to create multiple demo accounts there seems to be no way to actually prevent this, all we can do is ban their new usernames as soon as we can.

Just to clarify a few points (as a B2R member):-
These people have nothing to do with the Born 2 Race team and are merely impersonating usernames and stealing our team tag, eg- Garaily/Garally caiendur/calendur vel0city./velocity.

Concerning the bans.ban file....yes it is confusing, it is much easier to look in the pb.txt file to find offending usernames.

For what it is worth...Yes, it is definately not a cheat!
I have seen J.Antonio race many times and he is a good and fair racer, also I have seen this bug many times. He is using six percent fuel, barely enough for a five lap race and you can clearly see after the finish line he has no fuel left.

They do not have admin access and the vote/ban buttons are usually off to prevent them joining with multiple accounts and banning all.

Thanks for the replay Lake, suspicions confirmed. The username 147vehlo is the real Low Rider (he is no trouble at all) , his nick was being used by one or two of these... mmm ... people!
All user names involved have been banned but please understand that they will make more accounts.
Should they join and start causing trouble again, just leave the server and rejoin later.

I had some fun races too, thanks.

To me it proved that the fast guys are still fast but also showed that using a fixed set made it harder for the less experienced guys.
Where the experienced guys could drive within the limitations of the fixed set, the less experienced were struggling.
Using a fixed set IMO will not lead to better races for inexperienced guys...more frustration that the car is hard to handle.

He states that he is using the Nilex set, which implies (nee guarantees) he is driving the XFG.

To the OP...Be aware that Nilex XFG set does not suit all, which is one of the reasons why you may be struggling. As said above go online and watch some fast guys and ask for their set (do not be offended if turned down and only ask once).
I have helped quite a few new guys at Bl in XFG by watching them, giving advice and adjusting/giving sets, so feel free to search my user name and I will do what I can to help.

If using auto clutch in the FBM, I find it easier not to attempt syncronising clicking the paddle with lifting the throttle...I simply hold the paddle in and when the throttle is momentarily eased the next gear is engaged.
Also, do not be shy about going online. Simply pick a server that takes your fancy, observe the chat and the racing...you will find that (most) people are friendly and will offer advice where they can. It will be far easier and quicker to learn how to race online, simply observe and respect flags and other racers.

It is also possible that people can beat wr times but are not that interested in uploading hotlaps.

Zero caster will offer no self centering action.
