Yes, that is very disappointing.
I would not put it past the BBC to have got rid of Gary for different reasons though....if you stand him next to an attractive lady, an extremely rich short guy and a sharply dressed fit Scotsman then things could "look" a little unbalanced......
I agree.
If anyone thinks that F1 cars are running the same fuel that they put in their daily runner then they will be mistaken.
Without knowing how many coals you are burning then it will be hard to estimate how hot the fire will get.
Everyone has an opinion...some can speak louder....but that should not mean the opinion carries a different weight.
Your opinion is that the statement was correct...why mock someone for having a different opinion?
Surely you could just agree with the original statement rather than attack someone who disagrees?
Do I (my personal opinion) wish that there where more tracks? Yes!
The lack of tracks finally finished me...but cars/graphics/whatever would still be fine to me....personally.
Sure, you (personally), have invested time/money into this game and have no doubt had much fun...but if you continually knock/bad mouth it then you are only leading to a fall....
What do you stand to gain?
Nah...the 620R is light...put a V8 in and it has a heavy front end with a ridiculous amount of torque at the back end....but fun...
As Molocco said...anything can be drivable with the correct approach.
You can drive a car that will wheelspin in third gear....this car has over 500bhp and 495lb/ft...
I expected to look at this thread and find out about the current testing?
I heard that Vettel had a fire yesterday with little running...today has (apparently) been better...but they must be a long step behind at this point?
The only way to go where? More power for more people? Should we continue building more houses, creating more people?....Surely there has to be a limit?
On topic- I felt that the episode was correctly placed as number 2...A little knock to the Danish giraffe by way of an unfinished car...James Blunt twitter quips made me chuckle.....and strange how no one who drives cars for a living understands that the brakes slow cars down (seeing as they had no problem running a car on the rpm limiter, then I would presume no problem in holding the brakes on whilst driving....but hey-ho...that is the drama).
Plane catch? Did I miss what you are referring to?
If you join public freeroam servers then expect mayhem...join a crew and/or collect friends then you can expect a different freeroam experience.
Join a private server and from there join missions/sports/races/etc. if you do not like freeroam with others.
Was it really that long ago?....and I am still watching it...ah well that is confirmation then...
Still interested to see the laptime of the P1 though.
Yes. My problem is that I enjoy the entertainment (editing/camera shots/presenters...not necessarily the repetitive drama) but mainly miss the informative part. Of course not everyone will be happy with everything, so according to Tristan...I may be an idiot.
Yes.
There used to be a time when Top Gear was an informative programme on the telly for car nerds....now it is just entertainment for the masses....car nerds still persevere but end up with the same feeling...
If I had any say in it then I would suggest getting an ex-racing driver to do the reviews on cars like the P1.....oh wait a mo....
I agree that it maybe a sensor fault...would need to know if the wheel worked fine before and it has developed the fault without any other changes to be sure.
The post you linked led me to a picture of a cable-tie around the sensor cover...the black plastic piece flips off and underneath you have the sensor screwed to a bracket...the sensor reads the encoder wheel that is on the motor axle.
Oh..and if you were challenging "A straight pipe that is the correct length/diameter for the port timing at a given RPM will produce more power than an expansion chamber "
You understand that the exhaust can enhance the engine performance..the engine will have a certain resonant frequency at which it produces the maximum power (on any certain day (temperature and air pressure are important))...if you set the exhaust length/diameter of a straight pipe then you will achieve a higher maximum output...but the RPM range the engine will operate in will be very narrow.
With expansion chambers you have the ability to increase exhaust timing whilst still having a useable engine.
Yes two stroke GP bikes "back in the day" used straight pipes....and before GP two strokes were used elsewhere too.
Personally though, those are not the "real F1 bikes" as you put it....men were men when it was a peaky 4 cylinder two stroke with around 150+BHP...and nasty tyres...they used expansion chambers.
At your side note Forbin- Two strokes use expansion chambers (the bulbous part) to widen the powerband...you can use a straight pipe to achieve any frequency desired but the powerband will be narrow. A straight pipe that is the correct length/diameter for the port timing at a given RPM will produce more power than an expansion chamber that is designed to give power over a wider RPM range.
This did make me LOL...thanks.
However, I do think that the pricing should be adjusted for females that spend far too long looking at the posters/calenders on the walls. :monkey:
Ah...so maybe the problem lies with the board within the wheel that the buttons connect to...or the connection from that board to the main board. I think you need to establish where the fault lies before buying things.
I am no expert with the wheel you have but my first thought is a motor fault....and the motor is easily replaced (if that is the fault)....it is a Mabuchi RS 550.
Note also that a common fault with brushed motors is that the gaps between the commutator segments become blocked with a conductive material. Initially the motor will start to lose performance and eventually will stop working completely. It is easy to clean the commutator.
Take it apart and have a look.
