I don't know much about the new tracks in S2, but I would imagine that on a "regular" track the aerodynamical benefit would be negated by the worse handling characteristics caused by the rised front end.
If you really want to know, download a fast replay and see if the front is jacked up.
I thought there would be more than 975 licensees in Finland, actually.
I stopped "selling" licenses a year go, and I got up to £1404, which makes 117 x £12, so probably around a hundred separate people considering there weren't that many S2 licensees back then.
So I'm sorry if there are too many finns, you can blame me for around 10% of them
This would be somewhat complex and would add server load, but if the server "watermarked" one of the files in the ZIP to include information about who downloaded it, the devs could track down who originally downloaded the version that ended up in the P2P networks and suspend his/her account.
The 2X textures option has been removed from S2, apparently it's now always on. You'll need to show us a screenshot and tell us why exactly do you think it doesn't look as good as it should.
I believe you're right - you can see whether the host is private or public elsewhere. And even then, "P" wouldn't make much sense, since it could mean either of those
If the day will come when CRC will be useful at all, I think it should be enough to get into CRC once. The basic principle didn't change with the "new" CRC and neither did the persons who were previously accepted.
I believe the bug you're talking about has nothing to do with ground effect, which is NOT simulated in LFS.
In LFS, if the car is tilted backwards, downforce pushes the car slightly forwards instead of directly downwads like it should. At least that's the explanation I've heard on the forums.
