I hardly ever sleep at night, because I work 99% night shifts (security guard) and there's no point in trying to sleep at night on my days off.

I currently have a Athlon64 3000+ (stock 1800 MHz, overclocked to 2430 Mhz) and I'm looking for some extra punch. Both my motherboard and my aftermarket cooler state they support the Opterons, so this would seem a likely upgrade for me - I'm not looking to buy a new motherboard, as it would also mean upgrading my X1950 Pro AGP.

I had a hard time finding benchmarks with both these processors and I was hoping someone here could tell me if it would be worth it to upgrade. Most of the time the CPU seems to be the bottleneck in my system.

EDIT: I have an S939 motherboard.

From what I've heard, they're made from a single piece of metal instead of two separate paddles. For example when you flick the right paddle, the rebound effect can activate the left paddle as well. Not that I'd have a G25, that's just what some people say.

The Nokia Monitor Test could probably be used for this. At least it's great for setting up the screen geometry / contrast / brightness.

I think a patched uxtheme.dll is the best "3rd party software" you can use.

Doesn't CMX viewer still work with JPG skins as before? And for the purpose of just checking the skins out, it's faster too. As for seeing the skins of other people who race online... wait, he's a demo user, I didn't notice that at first. Oh well. Buy S2 and get the skins automagically from LFS World
