Wait until Scawen implements better AI. They have never been able to drive through the pits, but it wasn't an issue before as qualify and practice sessions used to start from the track, not the pits.

I think having real cars and real tracks is irrelevant. In high-budget games you can have these but I find no comfort in knowing this track and this car exists in the real world if the driving itself feels so detached from the real world.

In Live for Speed you feel like you're driving in the same world we live in - who gives a rats ass about brand names? This is a racing simulator, not a screenshot generator.

The thing is I experience the same issue in other games as well, not just LFS.

I've been wondering about this a while, I cannot get anti-aliasing to work at 1680x1050 32bit on my Radeon X1950 Pro AGP. It works fine in lower resolutions and even 1680x1050 16bit, which is what I have to now use for LFS.

Running a smaller resolution isn't really sensible since I have a LCD monitor.

I've tried a couple of different drivers and different AA settings (with and without AF), but nothing seems to make it work. Does anyone have similar experiences or any clues?
