I been searching on the S-S servers, and I see drivers using MRTs, FOX and BF1s, but not v8s.

Doesn't anyone want to drive the v8s anymore? I feel lonely .

Currently the lap is complete as you reach the pit exit, this is fine.

The "exploit" is that in a compulsory stop race you do not need to navigate the pit exit (from the point you turn the limiter off) and get up to race speed, it's actually quite a considerable saving of time, but the "exploit" only effects this circumstance.

A pit window would be the ideal solution, I think only stops between 25-75% distance should count and a text message for "pit lane open" and "pit lane closed" should appear onscreen.

TOCA 2 used that feature a few years back, I'm glad they did that .

I'm certainly interested, I have been in the mood doing 1 hour endurance, the ATC grand prix was one of the grand prixs I really enjoyed.

I have 1.3 GB RAM . But I know that I need to change the ram, so I'll worry about that later .

I don't like the look of that case, but I can always buy a more powerful PSU, since they come in cheap anyway. I prefer the one I posted on the topic, looks awesome.

I would report this to the wreckers report, but not long after my first one, he wrecked again on another 2 servers, so I don't want to spam that report .

Others seem to think differently. I tried the LFS demo on my Dad's PC, against 11 other AIs on the straight of Blackwood. 25-31 fps.

This is what he has.

Athlon 32000+ 64
512MB DDR
Nvidia FX 5200 AGPX8 128MB.

It's not a gamers PC, he simply uses it for work.

And the game played 31 fps against all AI cars on the straight. *without making any changes of settings to the program whatsoever for better performance. Compared to my 15-16 fps *with editing changes to make better fps*

Surely with the RAM, Graphics card that I have, combined with the 3200+ would bring out a good performance for a long while?

I am going to change the RAM when the new PC works, to give a better performance, but I'm leaving it out for the moment.

I started doing that advice *before it was described by Jackie Stewart* and it really does help, I was able to shed times off my pb, and save tyres for another couple of laps.

What is the 3200+'s actual processing speed?

[ITEK] Racing Team are now recruiting drivers on LFS.

We are looking for drivers with at least these requirements:

They must have over 6,000 miles of total distance in their record.
Must have fast pace in a majority of cars. (the GTs, open wheelers, etc)

We do take trials for those applying for [ITEK] to see their performance, and to help them improve on certain parts they struggle with.
