Too bad the retards started using euro as currency over here. Ok, it's logical but when prices are just converted with chancing the symbol from dollar to euro, the consumer really feels like he's being screwed up in the ass badly.
Makes no sense buying anything from Steam anymore.
Basic school is meant to provide you with basic understanding, theories and knowledge to go study more and focus on something you like and make a job from it. You narrow the studies down later and then specialise.
It's also meant for learning how to study, some people might not realise that learning isn't just reading and repeating what you read. It's about understanding what you read. I remember people at school who had read the material for a test four times, but still hardly passed the test. It can be hard process, I like to say I learned to read properly three years ago.
Another thing people don't often get is that they are supposed to learn and study for themselves, not for the teacher or your parents or to pass the test. This is of course hard if you don't have the will or motivation, but this might be the reason you don't have it as you are doing it for someone else. Sometimes you need to be an egoistic bastard for your own good.
Well, and using a calculator and knowing what to use it for are two completely different things. Having a calculator doesn't make you an engineer, like knowing how to measure heartbeat doesn't make you a doctor.
Kev...and Kev is, or at least used to be awesome while driving the LX4.
Now some pussy feeling has just got over him, and he has left his extensive ball collection to some nephew of him.
Which is sad of course, or not, if he did the post blind drunk like me now, which I doubt as his post actually make sense. Mine doesn't as it's done way too late, but then I'm a pussy who can't speak his mind unless freed by feel of drunknesnseesn. Which actually isn't true but is.
Joke or not I'm very seriuus about this now. Save Kevness on this forum, please!
The Concept racing LX racing nights were made just for you man!
Arrrgh I so want to start photography and buy a camera, again.
Have wanted to buy one for years. But now the reason is that I've been taking pictures and writing short news bits as a trainee for a local newspaper for a month. And now I'm really sure I want to take photography as a hobby and the camera wouldn't sit useless gathering dust.
Yeah, and a burst of awesome I need to get out. I've been working with an old Canon EOS 350D with some focusing issues. But today I got hold of a spanking new Canon 50D. Must admit I'm rather novice with cameras, but there is just something in the feel of that sort of bulky equipment which makes it feel awesome. It's like shooting with a gun, but the opposite and more awesome, creating and not destroying.
Moving armies and managing cities (some of this has changed in the Empire) are made on your own turns, could say it's like board game. It's like in Civilizations really.
The battles, unlike in Civilizations are real time strategy. Which you can pause or speed up.
Managing your empire in real time just wouldn't work because there is too much to do, especially when it starts to cover the whole European continent and it would be a game of who can click stuff faster.
I have the Syncmaster 2493 HM (different shade of black, I don't know?), which is similar to the one on the first post I think. I've been happy with it. The only thing I don't like are the touch buttons which are not illuminated and you can't really see nor feel them.
Your mum must be living in a parallel universe. Because if it had been on this weekend, every single news bit over here had been full of how Finland is going to win this year and how they didn't.
Or, I've successfully lived a weekend in a total isolation on the internet.
What I said can also be turned upside down, it's no use finding out if the cheaper petrol gives you poorer performance and just stick with the more performancely you like.
Naah, Jack is obsessed with his mileage like a geek is on maximizing performance on his computer. It will get too complicated quickly.
Just concentrate on your driving, leave out the "the occasional crazy bits" you mentioned, unnecessary overtaking, stopping for lights and slow granny accelerations from stand still.
