75% of the servers were Mecklenburg which was the horrible RP map. ._.
p.s. I'm still playing it and even though the official website down, the co-creator of the game Vino (Jorge Rodriguez) is still supporting the old community on a different website and is currently in the making of a new open-source TS-like game on the Source engine. !
GT3RS. Apparently it's the same as the GT2 minus XBox support. Price is fair and since it's available in the ClubSports package for $330US, I can afford it.
Same about Israel. Minimum wage here $5.9US/hour. Average salary is under 50% of what it is in the US. Under 40% than in Britain/Switzerland.
Cars have a 120% tax on them. VAT is 16%, customs are 16%.
I wanted to buy a G27 ($300US) but apparently all shops here sell it for $550US because of customs ($48US) + VAT ($48US) + shipping ($120US because Israel isn't part of Europe).
Yeah, this country is a crap place to live at. ._.
I finished my 3 years military service last year and have been working for Micron Tech. as a Flash memory production technician. It's 5 in the morning and I'm at work now, night-shift.
Some samsung
Then some Nokia

Nokia 5800

I don't care much about winning because I usually fail, I'm good at it. I want to have as much fun as I can. I think the Fanatec's pedals will prove to be alot more fun thanks to the brake pedal. I emailed them and if shipping to my country is under $150US, I'll go with the Fanatec.
Btw, how can the Fanatec be mouted to my computer table? The DFP mounts perfectly...
[QUOTE=Bose321;1636591]Oh really? Like which games? I've been using a Fanatec wheel for a while and didn't find a game that didn't support my GT3RS.[QUOTE]
Oh, what I meant is if you use the G27 wheel with the Fanatec pedals seperately, they won't work in RBR for example. If you use the Fanatec pedals with a Fanatec wheel, it should work properly.
I live in a country that isn't even listed on the Fanatec website so I'll just email them and see how much shipping might cost. It'll be at least $120US but possibly more.
GT3RS is 180 but comes without pedals... It's an extra 200 for those.
Also, Bose, did you own a G25/G27 or used one for a while? Because if your opinion is one-sided then it isn't worth alot.
I think if I could have the G27 with the Fanatec pedals by default I would've been the happiest in the world. But I can't afford the G27+Fanatec pedals seperately so it's a pickle.
I really hate my DFP's brake pedal, is the G27 an improvement in comparisson?
GTR2 is now available for free, you can get a free CD-Key from some German computer-hardware website. If you guys are interested, I can share the URL when I get back home.
Oh and yeah, I bought nKPro a few days ago, didn't have a chance to play it yet but I can't wait.
I'm going to buy a new wheel this week, my old DFP is just not cutting it anymore. Lots of info about both wheels but unfortunately I can't try both wheels before deciding which one to buy. What I managed to gather so far:
G27:
Popular, supported by all games, is generally sturdy, medium-quality pedals, poorly made shifter
Fanatec:
Not supported in all games, high-quality pedals, somewhat pricier.
What else should I know before deciding? Thanks guys.
Sup menz, I've been around on and off for a while but I never considered myself a racer. I've always wanted to get better at this but I figured that the reason I never got as good as I know I could be is because I get frustrated fast.
I tend to jump into the most complicated and thorough information available and with no basis to build upon, I usually crash, burn and give up.
Help me guys to become a better racer by walking the small steps, not jumping into giant shoes that don't fit. I have a DFP and LFS/nKPro/RBR.
I really hate the menus of modern racing games like DiRT3 and F12011. The game looks good. I'm still not sure if I like it though, I'll try it more thoroughly when I get back from work in 3 days and we'll see.
Leaving Earth's atmosphere is nowhere enough to actually be able to meet other forms of intelligent life - Our technology is not advanced enough to a) travel fast enough far enough and b) sustain a human alive long enough for such a journey.
