Good thread. LFS and drifting reminds me a shooter game I used to play half a decade ago, which slowly turned into a Role-Playing game where the Death-Match and Role-Players had constant flame wars. It took 5 years and for the game to die for the community finally stop caring.

You can get a good 22" lcd screen for around 300 dollars with this resolution.

If you can spend more, you could go for a 24" with full HD for novicably more.

I'd really suggest you look into samsung screens, imo they are the bang for the buck.
