Had to download "Old image style" just because mozilla went derp with his new background color.
Well logic in dreams its awfully volatile thing, we just take everything we see, as it is and never question it.
I think for a mechanism to work in a dream it needs to be something very simple with very obvious way of working, for example I know that if I flick light switch I can turn lights off and on but why? I know because of electricity and circuits but in a dream this is just not obvious enough.
If I hit a brakes, car should brake because of tires having grip and all that.
But in dreams I dont think my brain actually goes into so many details and because of that while I try to brake its never goes to the tires/ground relationship (Although I think Scawen might have that one dream working perfectly, I would be very surprised if he dont)
You can turn a steering wheel and your car will turn in a dream but it doesn't turn because your car follow your front tires but because you expect your car to turn and because of that steering is inconsistent.
Something simple which is working in an obvious way, will work in dream but since physics does not exist in dreams all interactions are more what you expect it to be (more or less) and not what they should be.
Same thing as brakes that seems to brake but never enough to stop which result in crash.
Also crashes because car dont turn as good as it should or dont fit where it should.
I also had a series of dreams in which I drove some way too flexible car, when I was making a turn it bend so much that I ended up scratching steering wheel against the curb, (car itself was ok only steering wheel was scratched).
No I dont have one.
Performance in games is mostly GPU and CPU, just because you have SSD doesnt mean you will play games your PC couldn't handle before and considering the price of this thing its just not for average gamer.
Of course I don't deny SSD is better than HDD but if you want to play newer games you better spend this money on better GPU at least performance increase will be more noticeable.
Looking at that pic I can see how snaping disc manually will be really convenient
The good news is I think those are renders from neogaf, so its not new PS3 slim.
But the bad news is they most likely do something like this.
They did same thing with PS2 slim and now they doing it with PS3, chopped it off everything cool and next gen and end up with something that look simple and feel like late 90.
If its true Boris you better buy PS3 now, when cech-30xx entered it replaced all other models in stores if this thing replace 3000 series then
Another reason to buy PS3 now, if sony replaces it a lot of good games will become unavailable very fast and you miss them forever.
After PS3 was released it was harder and harder to find games for PS2 and because of that I missed tons of good games I wanted to play.
Some of them are being re-released as HD edition for PS3 but its only a small percentage and IIRC costs like a brand new PS3 game.
There is few things FW update can screw, one is console itself (to get the idea how frequent that happens you can check playstation forums) and another is game compatibility, I dont update anything as long as I am not forced (Usually by game) but after FW updates there is always tons of reports when random games suddenly stopped working.
If your windows having near death experience you can fix it in many ways.
With PS3 butchered FW update mean service and everything else at least format. I have constant power outages and I am a bit tense every time I have to update my FW
I've been hearing it about loud PS3 and I dont know why but my PS3 is pretty quite, I am not even sure whether fan goes on higher gear at all, maybe those newer models just so quite (for reference I have CECH-3004B).
"Oh look I made a troll account so I can troll and insult people without staining my forum reputation"
bye!
true in my case both are complementing each other.
Where did you get that info? As I know its simply not true.
Again would disagree with you, GT5 giant patch and monster install, plus if something goes wrong during firmware update (Which are frequent) you cant fix it yourself like you would do with PC and sony service is not the quickest.
More like "Oh boy someone picked up a flaws in my argumentations so lets insult his intelligence and hope no one notice how stupid is my reasoning"
So what if not all are made into drift cars, AE86 is a cult car as it is.
But you picked up corolla which is a very wide range of car models and now what, you saying that you had in mind only specific models and its my fault I didnt guess which one exactly?
Look, its not my fault you dont see a difference between car line and a specific car model...
Oh noes, my argumentation have more holes than a Swiss cheese I gotta do something and fast, I insulted his comprehensive capabilities already, oh I know, lets insult his reasoning instead
I agree with you, people nowadays never try to understand the meaning behind the words, they just swallow everything without taking a minute to think about it.
Nope, it is you who failed to make a fitting allegory.
AE86 is a cult car for many reasons but all you had to say about it is that is not luxurious enough.
RTS, flying/racing sims, very few FPS that are fun like Red Orchestra, fear, quake.
For me those are the highlights of PC gaming beside it, its pretty boring platform.
Console and PC games have very different feel to them (not even speaking about graphics or controls) and I prefer the way console games feels, there is only few gaming genres on PC that are thriving so beside those games I mentioned I cant find anything fun to play on PC.
In the other hand, its payoffs to have good PC, 3D modelling, graphics, internet, movies, ability to learn and easy access to information PC really offer a lot beside gaming.
So buy yourself PS3 and slowly start raising money for new PC.
Genius HS-02B. The most comfortable headset I ever had, they weight next to nothing, you can wear them the whole day and your ears wont get hot or even hurt, most of the time you dont even feel them.
Sound quality is tolerable, very much enough for skype, TS/mumble, watching movies and playing games.
Quality is pretty good for such cheap headphones, not one pair I had died on me, I buy myself a new pair every year nevertheless just because plastic get loose and I prefer to have a tighter grip on the head, I can afford that for that kind of price.
Sennheiser HD555. Second most comfortable headphones I ever had, great sound quality for music, movies and gaming.
Earpads are big enough to fit a whole ear inside, weight noticeable more than previous headset but sit tight on a head.
You can wear them a whole day without burning or hurting your ear/head or creating sauna around your ears.
Standard issue for this model is cracking on the earcups where bridge connects, its not a problem as the cracks doesn't develops any further, right under the plastic in place cracks appearing there is another pair of screws which actually holds everything so this cracks while common problem and can go for 1-2cm are not really an issue (have those on my HD's for two years already without them developing any further.)
Either of those are better sounding and more comfortable than earbuds, if you place comfort over sound quality and looking for cheap good headset, go for genius, if you value sound quality and can afford them go for HD's
The worst thing is, if you lose grip at high speed or try high speed drifting, since the higher the speed the less your wheels will turn either catching grip or drifting become difficult plus forced smoothing (Something similar like analogue smoothing in LFS, so its not just steering sensitivity)
But otherwise the game is fun, drifting feels great (Look also), tons of cars and tracks, even standard cars behave very well, graphics are not bad, tracks and cars look really well, cities look alive (Nice change from South City which look like a perfect place for walking dead ), doesnt really make me aaaawwww like previous GT but I doubt there is a game that will do it for me.
Sometimes there are moments that GT5 look close or even better than real life
Currently playing seasonal events plus 200% bonus to cr and exp, I am richer than Rockefeller
Great game, amount of premium content is pretty much what I would expect after 6 years, cockpits in standard cars dont look bad or artificial, definetelly better than some halfassed, low res cockpit inside as a placeholder, in any case they are not immersion breakers.
I just hate speed steering lock with DS3, and I have no place to mount my DFGT atm.
If something I dont really like how car goes in straight line when you floor the throttle, come one even GTA IV have this part modelled.
Also drifting, I never drifted in RL so have no experience to compare to but drifts in GT are too easy, otherwise the cars behave very natural especially on comfort or sport tires.
