Design is pretty simple and if you have left centring spring it would have been even better.
While he is using dismantled gamepad in your case everything is easier as you dont have to solder, wire anything, just build this thing around your joystick.

Just a quick correction about Historix.
Currently I am playing Historix 1.9 and I have to say there is giant improvement over previous version.
While cars generally have less grip they became a lot more predictable and as for now I never lost control over a car
in a totally sudden and unpredictable manner as in Historix 1.x

About roman numbers, I remember as a kid I obviously missed the lesson on which they were introduced and one day we had classwork.
So the teacher writes on the board equitation to solve.
I- blablabla
II-herp derp
III-potato
then she get tired and instead of writing shit on the board she says "Ok, exercise number four -count potatoes in your pants, exercise number five- derplaherp, exercise number six-(what do I write here) exercise number seven - sumfinsumfin" and so forth.
We had about 10 those equations to solve.
When I returned my work it was like this.
I-potato
II-immagenius
III-plz have mah children
IIII-immabeast in bunny disquise
IIIII-my pants are on fire
IIIIII-nuklear rod in my pants is overheating please let me use your moist cooling room or something terrible will happen.

Well I hate this stuff too, I dont travel by plane but bus and trains, and when waiting at the border and custom officers with dogs searching the bus/train (cigs, alcohol, drugs gold, etc) I had to be always careful because often old ladies smuggling the sh
t tried to hide their merchandise next to you (sometimes just ask to take one bottle of vodka because there is limits of how much one person can carry and if you still can you can help) and when found (and officers always found tons of stuff from behind the walls and celling) you could have problems.At best case wasted nerves trying to explain how it is isnt yours.
Well herbs do have some healing properties but they mixed holism and herbalism and its not the same.

If you spin to the inside its mean you adding too much throttle and probably not enough/too late countersteer.
Here is a few tips i gave in the other thread hope it will be helpful to you.
Also watch a few vids on yt or search for replays of people drifting, notice the moment people start countesteering and straighten the wheel and relation of countesteering to the side motion of the car, thats should give you some clue when to start maneuver and when to stop.
Of course you cant ignore throttle, too much throttle mean you are going to spin.
