Ruling by admin: Protest rejected, #20 did stay on his line
Lap 162 (According to the tracker). #20 Renesis was beside me (#14) in the first left hander, I was outside but he didn't give room so I crashed to the fence and had to pit because of the damage.
After protesting against the half of the grid, don't you think there is something wrong with you and your driving? If a GT1 is behind you try to choose a clear line (right or left side of the road) and stay there, your movements are quite unpredictable.
Hmm, I just watched it. Protest is about spinning, there isn't any spin there , just barely touched the back of his car. Not to mention he was unpredictable slow out of that corner.
I don't agree with the lap 7 incident. It's clearly visible that I couldn't take the turn because the right-rear side of my car was hit when starting to turn...
The tracker doesn't show the laps for our 3rd driver, V. Szabó. (Maybe because he wrote V. Szabo on the server?)
He is now in 6th place but according to the the tracker he is 7 laps down.
Do we really need this discussion going over and over?
What about changing the rule and letting people go through the track as fast as they can (It's car racing after all...)
I haven't ever seen a race in any real racing leagues where there was a faster line but the racers agreed not to use that and to use a slower line instead...
I agree with Chriskart regarding the fact that it's innatural to force racers to use a slower line if there is a faster one and to avoid this there should be cones or something to mark the border of usable track.
And as I experienced going through the sand with 4 wheels also gives you time advantage (as you can go through the chicane much faster overall this way) so it should also be banned. (Of course it can happen inevitably in the race a few times but not always.)
OK but you didn't even give us the chance to report our fastest clean lap like others. That is what I was talking about. But nevermind, Mot3c will try again on Friday. We support the idea of little cones at the chicane.
Why not using a layout then? Will you check every lap in the race in every car? This way there will always be arguement whether a cutting is just legal or over the limit and nobody needs this.
Anyway Mot3c had a 2:10,68 and a 2:10,91 without the last turn cutting and with the same amount of chicane cutting as many others.
It's interesting (or sad?) to see how the number of participants halved from week 1 to week 2 end again to week 3. Probably the newness of the challenge disappeared as the time went on and most of the people realised they have absolutely no chance of getting into the top 10 and that it's even more nervewrecking than hotlapping on a "normal" track.
