thanks. maybe thats one of the benefits of a sim is that you dont have to endure such things lol. i know what you mean about the whole body thing though, i remember being in the car with my dad and you were constantly tensed up around the corners to stop yourself moving in the seat. to think it was only a 1.3 Suzuki swift GTI too
should your tyres heat up evenly or is that a result of inccorect camber? cause the insides of mine heat up the most. i obviously know why that is the case but i would have thought an even amount of heat over the entire lap would represent optimum camber?
i try to keep to the theory as much i can but i havent quite mastered it yet so id say im either slightly over cautious and therefore slow, or slightly too aggressive and slow because i either start a slide or mess up the line.
people often think im a bad driver cause i brake too early yet i often seem to pull away from them over the entire lap.
can you shed some light on how to interpret the FFB better? people say FFB is one of the best things in LFS although ive just gotten a momo and never used it before except for those nascar arcade machines you got in service stations nearly 10 years ago.
i tried to feel for similarities in normal driving but i think with the PS it makes it less obvious to the point where you dont really get any feedback from it.
anybody whos ever programmed before will know just how big 133mb actually is! the reason its alot smaller is cause it doesnt have all the fancy graphics menu's, pictures, etc etc that a mainstream game will have that bulks it out something rotten.
lol, no i didnt know that! just googled it. its a pretty rare car tbf. still, i think it looks like some 90's japanese concept car that was never gonna be made anyways :P
a revised version of the Raceabout. i love small MR cars but i hate the Raceabout, it looks 'orrible. if it could be made to resemble more of an Elise/MR2/VX220 it would be so much better.
what is the fix for this? ive seen other threads linking to the wingman site but i cant find anything that will fix this. one says i dont have a momo installed, the other cleared all my stuff but didnt actually achieve anything.
this thing has just cost me a place on the last corner too
driving practice states that you squeeze the pedal on and ease it off. if you pump the pedal then you are causing unecessary weight transfer, and a longer stopping distance.
i know what you mean. im the guy that is too cautios into the first corner and ends up getting rammed by some pillok who cannot stand to be behind somebody who isnt going all out at T1. i find if you use the tightest possible line all the way round the first 3 or 4 corners (almost on the grass) then everybody else seems to avoid you and understeers off to the outside.
i like DC. hes a very british driver and some of his remarks are well funny.
on a side note id like to see Hamilton put in one of the Honda's and see him work his way up like all the rest did. i think the media have bigged him up so much that people are expecting from him what he doesnt have (but will almost certainly have one day!). i just dont like how hes been spoonfed into a top car when others have had to fight for their seats in a much lesser car.
FFB is quite tireing! can anybody give me a decent set for it cause im sure i dont have it correct. its harder to handle than without FFB. or does it take time to get used to it??
ive got the hi-def package and its great. however the background pictures which have been used make some menu options very hard, if not impossible to read.
just got my momo. the wheel seems to be working fine and is on X axis (0). however the pedals are combined on the Y axis (3), even though they are clearly set as 'seperate' on the box above.
