so, you piss standing up? or do you have a really accurate wizards sleeve? i can only assume that for you to say you're a woman for so long could mean that you're actually a butt pirate. of that catcher kind......
Or maybe you just have a clitoris the size of a Russian speed bag...
you seem to have missed the point Shotglass. unsurprisingly avoiding to the question. i've hardly posted in this forum for 6 months and you're still at your same old shit. to get a back to the subject. how's about you change the feckin record?
i was wondering when you'd resort to calling someone an idiot for having a different opinion. it's also convenient that you "couldn't be bothered" to read said explanation. but you are willing to quote from said post so that you can spew more shyte into the LFS forums.
distortion isn't natural? explain why stars twinkle please.... i think you'll find it's NATURAL DISTORTION caused by the atmosphere.
go back to fingering your arse. you're much better at that. careful you don't distort your freckle though.
I've now deleted two detailed replies because you obviously seem to have a much better understanding about the technology needed to get sound from a plastic disc. Technology that hasn't changed much since it's invention. a bit like the guitar.
I don't know what kind of stuff you see marketed other than pretty much the basics. Could you give further detail about your previous post because frankly I think you're chatting out of your arse.
I agree. but it's not enough for the people who matter (punters) to know the difference. I've never gone into a club and thought "what a lovely warm sound. the DJ must be using vinyl" lol. but for the person who wants the best sound for his music. (other than live) Records and (proper) turntables are the best option.
ask the Scottish DJ if he knows anyone from Leeds. He would be listening to the stuff Kev is looking for and would have a better chance of finding what Kev is looking for.
about the needle alignment. it doesn't have to be as finite as you might think. this is because records come in different thickness's and are made with different compounds. so you might have the tone-arm height set perfectly and weighted perfectly for record "A" but record "B" could be thicker (throwing the tone-arm height off) and softer vinyl (excess tone-arm weight = needle burn).
the sound quality increase comes from the amp. you haven't broke the needle in yet. (usually ~3 hours of record playing)
I tend to play what ever i feel on that given day. I don't like sticking to one genre. I'm always mixing techno with electro. trance with progressive. and house with tech house. club house with electro. the list goes on...
I usually mix 2 dance genres. so in that sense, pure house was house only. no electro. no techno. no progressive. no trance. just good old house beats.
EDIT: Give it a wee listen. For me that's what i think of when i think about house music. Club house is more commercial. Tech house has more of a baseline to it. and electro is like dubstep for girls.
Listening to a pure house mix I made a few days ago. But to keep some kind of energy, I mixed using all four of the decks on offer with Traktor.
I don't think it sounds too bad. 122BPM - 128BPM is not that fast so it feels very "warm-up".
I wish I could help but unfortunately, server issues are not my strong point. I'll send Franky a wee text to see if he can look into this a bit further. With a bit of luck, he should be able to resolve the issue quick enough.
