LFS runs like a charm on Vista... I get nearly twice the framerate, compared to XP!

Damn, thats weird... Try to re-calibrate the pedals again... Thats the only thing i can remember now, sorry if i couldnt help you man.

Have you tried ingame changing the pedals from combined to separate? If that doesnt work, i guess you'll have to install Logitech profiler and change the pedal properties to separate. Good luck.

lol i must be doing something wrong here... I have 2x7800GT on SLI and did an FPS test on Aston with no AI (same resolution as the guy in the 1st post: 1024x768 / 4xAA / 16xAF). No V-Sync and i could only top 170 fps? weird... Maybe my processor is the bottleneck (Athlon 64 X2 Dual core 3800+), cause i get the exact same fps with 1600x1200 @ 100Hz / 8xAA / 16xAF.

Quote from VTiRoj :I backed it up to the recycle bin I love these new guards so much I wont be replacing them

Shame we cant colour them ingame though

You actually can... As long as you have a different carbon.dds file to go with each skin! The problem is that you have to replace it everytime you change skin, but it works.
LX4 and LX6 new carbon fibre mudguards

New carbon fibre mudguards for lx4 and lx6, with much more resolution (original texture was 128x128 pixels, new one is 512x512 pixels) and more realistic colors. Install to *\data\dds folder and don't forget to backup the original carbon.dds file. Enjoy!

You can always use the Handicap option to add 20 or 30 kg and simulate the tops weight...

Nice! The cliffs are great but maybe some off the sand textures could be a little darker (easier on the eyes). Keep it up m8!

That usually happens when the host loads a layout with objects "outside" the track. Not a W9 patch problem, i've been having that "bug" since s2 came out.

Really liked this layout dude! Good work. (YEAHHHHHH im not a demo racer lol )
low fps on most layouts
Disposable

I'm getting 130+ fps on most tracks but as soon i load up a layout on any track (+-150 objects) it lowers my fps to around 40, sometimes even less... Is this normal? System specs on sig.

Quote from anbiddulph :the readme on this thread is wrong. the end lines should be

OutGauge Mode 2 ?@
OutGauge Delay 1
OutGauge IP 127.0.0.1 ?@
OutGauge Port 55?@?@ ?@
OutGauge ID 0

with the funny symbols

I agree, only worked for me using those symbols aswell...
