I think that unless the fuel tank if made to hover by magic ... then somewhere it is attached to the chassis ..so therefore will always be sprung weight
I agree with what Darktimes says , it should be on stilts without the fuel in ...not dragging its arse round the track .
I was wrong about who was asking questions , its Ross Brawn and Martin Whitmarsh who has asked the FIA to clarify .. the following is a quote from autosport
Red Bull Racing in particular may be using a clever mechanical system - perhaps based around a ratchet - that will allow the team to run a low ride height in qualifying yet can adjust itself to be well suited for the heavier fuel loads needed in the race.
Is it really possible to generate that much more downforce given the stringent peramiters the teams have to adhere to ?
Have been reading and hearing that the redbulls may be using some sort of 'active' suspention , maclaren for 1 are asking the FIA for clarification on the matter .
If Vettel was clear of Webber i would dismiss this , but as Webber is right there with Vettel it really does make me wonder .. what i mean is I could understand vettel blowing the field away .. but Webber aswell ...
Im sorry , but the guy had a least 80% overlap ....
Just how much more "there" do you need to be ?
hypotheticaly , Im guessing that guy had to be pretty close to get a stable , controlled 80% overlap , having established that , the same driver would have been if full view of any competent racer waaay before that turn ? You aint gonna make that move from 400 yards back ...
He was there waaay b4 the turn in point ....its not like they clipped front to rear quater now is it ?
PS .. You can't just throw yer toys out yer pram and turn in anyway just because you left the door open .... I rest my case

Reason : see last line ....
The WR pack i refered too was given to me by a friend , so i cannot comment on its origins , however i did aquire a setup pack about 8 months ago from a setup type site that was not Phlos ... 99% sure the other didn't come form the phlos site either ...
For the record , I firmly belive that if you set a WR that your set should NOT be published to the public ( partial or otherwise )
Watched the replay .. the guy had 80% overlap when he was turned in on .
What ya gotta ask yerself is , in RL would you turn in on that guy ? No you wouldn't 1, Because IRL you would have been aware that he was there ..would lead to .. 2, Self preservation , to turn in there IRL would mean a big off ..you know that i know that ... so why not leave the same room as you would in real life ? I do .. and I also expect it from others ...
What sim racing need is a 'USB hurt machine' .. when you crash ..IT HURTS! ...
Would make for realistic racing .... bet ya a tenner
Just curious as to what the guys outside the UK are paying for Win7 ... from what I gather from the lemmings that 'just bought regardless' about £70 ish for the basic home ...
I realise that the home pro will be £120 .. my question is ...The os it worth it?
Money may not be changing hands , but he is a server owner and that means people on his server is payment for his time , i can kinda understand if something he spent many hours on has been taken and used by another server owner to fill their own servers ..
however ....
You gotta expect people to save their own time by taking a finished product
when said product is not protected by anything other than good will .
That might well suck ... but then we are humans ..our track record is poor at best for this kind of thing.

Reason : spelling as always
Seriously m8 , who the hell you think you are ? My points were valid and backed up with a link to prove it , so because YOU think i was "tearing the shit outta people" you get to call me a dickhead ?
