Yup , your post brought to mind messing about with minis in my youth , once you topped an A series engine off with a 16valve conversion the standard Gbox was on its very limit , so at the time a staight cut box was the recognised fix for this , no way you gonna strip that baby !!

2 belt driven .. so you like the way belts stretch over time ?

IMHO keep the wheel the same ..add 2 extra buttons ( of the same quality as the g25 ) + add pedal spacing for the chaps that like to heal toe + the quieter gearing is nice ( i get massive ear-ache if i use anything but 360 as the missus deems this to be too noisey)

Who's to say what his or anyone elses goal (or something) was? For me personaly as a UK resident 1,000,000 km means bugger all , having said that maybe in his own country the Km is king ..and so you can pretty much take it as a given that passing 1 million ( of what ever unit you care to measure distance with... miles or kilometers is an achievement )
