How much time have u spent driving? Since ur 15 i guess not much?...
Why not learn to drive a normal car first then mod it?.... It took me ages to learn to drive my standard Cav Sri 16v on the limits after i passed my test...
Why not get a Corsa 1.4 Sport to start with... Then you can drop a small block 1.8 16v out of a Mk4 astra straight in using all th Corsa mounts when you need it....
Sending £4k or getting over 180bhp for ur first time driving is stupid and dangerous if you have never really driven a car much or had one balancing on the edge over 110..... It doesnt take much to overcook it and smash into someones new Evo or Ferrari.... Theres no Shift-P IRL.....
You need the Hotfix version of Catalyst for AGP cards now... Hotfix Catalyst drivers will be on the ati website... You need version 9.7 for Win7 support i think... Catalyst 9.7 was only released last week and the hotfix version is just out...
For some reason the drivers dont come up in any search....
Have u just installed the Windows os or was it on th computer for ages? Also, is the wireless secure on the router?.. Someone might be stealing it n giving u a shit connection... How often do you disconnect? like every 2 mins or a couple o times a night?
Also, when was the last time u unplugged th wifi/modem from th wall? Turning them off/ unplugging them for 5 mins sometimes fixes line problems...
Shame u dont want an import... You could get a v6 twin turbo Galant 300bhp with under 70k miles for £4k... Or if u are lucky, find one of the 200 official Uk cars...
Idk, when i play LFS patch v or Unreal 1 i still get high usage on both cores... When playing games theres all the 3d audio drivers and gfx APis loaded and running to let the game work... Due to most functions not running direct on hardware then windows has to be the man in the middle...
I also dont think the biggest svchost shows its cpu usage at all.. When running sevices loaded into it, it still doesnt show usage in Task manager, Even tho it has high i/o operations all the time...
Also, when playing LFS i get about 40-50% total usage for the whole computer in Task Manager, tho the cpu gauge will show over 90% on 1 cpu and 40-50 on another... which is roughly 70-80% total usage...
The thing with cpu usage on more than 1 core when running LFS is the fact that Windows is still running while you play the game.... Theres the Audio Service, Network Service, Plug n Play and all the other services and drivers that make up Windows OS that still has to run to keep the system live... Thats what shows usage on other cores while running LFS or other single threaded apps...
Even trying to OC the P4 would be pointless... If your motherboard supports 800mhz fsb and HT then get a P4 3.4HT for £10 off ebay..
Its what im using atm and get 70-110 fps when on th move with 4xAA and 8xAF with about 20fps for 10 secs on a busy grid... your gfx card is much better than my 7600GS too...
Those idiots that sit in the fast lane on the motorway doing 62mph holding the country up.... If its a guy then he is doing it just to piss u off... If its a woman then they have no idea what all the problems about.... ITS THE PASSING LANE!!! not a lane so you can get a good scenic view of the other side o the road....
