I know I started this thread, as I just wanted to see what other LFS people think, but I backed off due to all the "you said this" you said that" and non factional information.

LFS physics is x amount of years old now, so like I originally asked, is this now being exploited with keyboard/mouse users. I have nothing against mouse and keyboard users, but if this is a sim, surely if you have a wheel, pedals, clutch etc etc, you should be faster ( if you know the tracks, that helps )

I am loving all these updates about the ring, but surely, everything you are talking about should of been tested before release

This is my concern with mods in AC..alot of content untested properly before release...release it in the wild and see what happens and then patch it again...and again....and again

They was going to throw the PC in the bin due to motherboard fault, so I opened her up to find an I5 processor...I saved it

HI Hardcore People.

Just wondering, what performance difference could I expect. Here is the base system:

Z77 Pro Motherboard
16GB DDR Matched 1600 Memory
1TB Sata Drive
Geforce GTX 750ti 2GB

Now I will be replacing an [email protected] with an [email protected]. I know the latter runs Quad Core, and my current runs dual core, but will I see a significant difference, mostly in gaming?

Yeah sorry guys, cannot test anymore, as not only changed my GPU but also got rid of the three VGA 20" LED's for 1 HDMI 27" wide as with my new GPU, 1 monitor had to be DVI-D.

The crash I got was strange, but I was using a Geforce 210 PCI-e and also onboard Intel HD 2000 for the triple screens, so this might have been the issue.

All I got was LFS has stopped working......

With out re-inventing the wheel per say Troy and Luchian, do you have a better idea of Car group list? I know it sounds like I am being lazy, but like I said, if somebody has done the work already.....why re-invent the wheel LOL

I have obtained a PDF file that is just brillient for anybody that is hosting a server. It is not my work, so I will take no credit for it, but it was a chap on AC forums Raijin.

I have also done a car list, easy to read so it's a simple cut and paste.

Hi All,

I (we T7R) now have a dedicated server provided by MHS Server's. I am just doing some more testing/tweaking to the config file, and then I will open it up ( I mean provide you with the password )

Is there anywhere that says what car groups there is ?

Also just to confirm, does the pitbox problem still exist, i.e. if you have say 40 slots but only 24 pit boxes, some people crash out of the game?

OK ok...I bow down to all you hardcore drivers...but you had to limit frame rates, turn on Vsync etc etc, make so many graphical changes for one track....do I seriously need to do this? .....or can I take the plunge and give it a bash....god help me

Can I ask...what is this big thing about the Ring....I am just asking as you are all so excited about it..I just don't get it.

To me....its a track that is over 6mins per lap, with humps and bumps in random places and "don't look at the tree's" I have seen that you cannot have "door to door" racing on it and there must be an update every 2-3days.

Like I said, playing dumb here, but what is all the fuss about

Cool thanks for that as well. There is a known problem with the HDR and in showroom or in pits, black or Carbon shows up as White. They are looking in to it
