It was a hard week for the materials and racers at South City, even then the quality of racing has improved again, congratz to the finishers!

Next week we've decided to go the long way for the TBO with KY3r, and GT2 will be on KY2 which is a very popular track for those cars.
Tracks are setup on respective servers, ready for training...

THX for the kind words guys, this is the only reward we expect from all the hard work! Happy racers!
We do our best while having fun, but as we all know, you can't make an omelet without breaking any eggs, now the question is how big will the omelet be lol.

Note that we have made some changes to the series, after some confusions with the quali system and divers requests, we have decided
to try to go back to the conventional quali system and to allow 1 rejoin in the first 2min of the race.
The rejoin is test which has been requested by drivers and we hope no one will abuse it by being careless in the first corner or it will be short lived.

Last two week we have raced some very hard tracks which have been hard on the drivers and materials (congrats to the survivors, some amazing racing guys!), so next week we are going to AS2r with the TBO (very popular on this server) and AS3r for the GT2's for some fun and close actions...

So if I understand it well our next step should be to go check on the VIP servers if we have been vouched, if not and we think we're good enough then we can apply for a membership...mmm nice...I am on my way.:auto:

A restricted LX6 (really funny :nod or a good UFR/XFR ''GT Light or GTL'' (no servers run them any more ) server would be cool too??
I like the GTL class because you can mix them in endurance with GT2, I did some endurance last year with UFR, was great fun..

We are running an S1 track for next week TBO races (40min +1lap, must pit with tires change) on Monday and Wednesday at 21:00UTC.
We run twice the same track to give a chance to everyone to race their favourite tracks and to give others a chance to improve in second race.

I only posted it a week ago on our forum and completely forgot to mention it here, it is already very busy so we were not thinking about advertising, but a friend told me yesterday that it wasn’t fair to him and the racers who are expecting to find this on LFS forum. Sorry for that… I am here to fix this.

Last week Ready2Roll has started the Dailycious Series, some of you probably knows our GT2 and TBO servers with 10 min +1 lap sprint races, we now have one 40 minutes +1 lap races with 30 minutes qual before it, 4 times a week from Monday to Thursday at 19:00 UTC…

The most important is that everyone is welcome to participate and there are no inscriptions (only limit is the server capacity and the 32 places on the grid). We are planning to run this series till June, so...many many races in perspective…

We use a special system for the qual and race, lap time (or license) lock is applied before race to ensure we don’t have too much lap time differences, the required Copper licence is achieved by driving within 104% of the world record (virtual for the GT2 cars) during sprint races or qualifications.

After joining track with your selected car you can see your current licence in !pb. Also !lc output gives a nice overview of licences of currently connected people, and !lcs will show you all achievable licences. Make sure to read the rules topic if you decide to participate.

Everything saved with control panel on 500servers will be saved in ANSI, I have complained about this a while back and asked to change it, but it is hard coded in CP....Franky has requested it to be fixed in later updates...But CP developpers are as fast as the LFS ones...

@B2R: you can't protect every names, but I know you can block ppls from login in with your tag, we've implemented this on our servers when Anthoop warned me about a crasher using our tag...maybe ask some advise to EQ Worry, I am sure he would be happy to help you there...

First I am not an AMG user and I didn’t like the racing there either (I wouldn’t say it is bad and I rather say I don’t like it, that engage only me), but it is not easy to run a busy server and I will always have respect for the ppls spending great amount of time trying to entertain the LFS community, it is not like they are making money out of it, it is their server and they can manage it the way they and their community likes it. I think it is very dangerous to start that kind of topic here since we have seen many times what’s happened, there will always be unhappy ppls and they tend to be the first posters to reply. I would rather see constructive suggestions to improve things than free critics (good or bad), keep in mind that it is not possible to satisfy everyone, so if you don’t like a server why spend time racing on it if in the end you have to spend time trying to make them look bad here.

There are many different ppls who likes different things in LFS, we need to respect that and if we don’t like something I believe the best way to show it is to avoid racing there. The problem is that many ppls want to race where it is busy and expect everybody to race exactly the way they like it, there are many servers and teams, just find the ones you like and keep it to that…

Also I want to say that a bit of solidarity between the teams wouldn’t hurt anyone and I believe that jealousy is not helping our cause (revenge will always be around the corner), personally I am always happy to see a new team getting some results from their hard work… So GO GO GO AMG, keep doing what you’re doing and try to improve where you can!

It is a noble cause then, if you sincerely believe that topics like this prevent such accidents from happening, I may have another 500 replays to suggest then lol.

I am not a big poster here, but this got my attention because I know Ring (good guy!) and was curious what he had to say….
Sadly I can’t see the point behind such a topic, since he wasn’t banned and we are talking about a 5 laps race where an “accident” has happened like 1000’s every days…
It is starting to look like the F1, soon we’ll need a tribunal to judge those incidents….lol

I was a real life racer which doesn’t makes me qualified and to be honest I am curious about what do you think qualifies some of you to be judge on this one? (taking online stats in to considerations)
Gentlemen’s rule says that when someone pass you on the inside ¾ of a car, you back of to eventually get him back on the inside of apex (hoping he would get a bit too deep on braking)… in 5 laps sprint races I think it is the only rule that makes sense since crashing or an error lives you no chances to get back, Ring and Pat are both good racers (raced many times with them) and when 2 good racers fights there is always a chance for an accident, which here could have been avoided from both sides… of course I am not a specialist in those matter but that’s the only conclusion I can make here. No big lesson to be learned..

So I don’t understand what you want to achieve here, especially after 3 pages ...
If you want to learn about racing this is not the best example to chose from….

Just a little post to say that after the great insim and support EQ Worry provided us with, we have decided to invest little money in the form of a donation to support his work and he was so kind to provide us the full version of Airio. Our config is not perfect yet, but we are very very happy with the results we’ve achieved in such a short time.

So mate, a big thumb up from all of us at R2R!!!! Keep up the good work!!

I may have found a little bug, I was playing with restrictions on FXR, when set to 26% cars can enter with 23% (not 24 or 22, only 23). Other GTR's don't suffer from this so that's why I'm posting it here.

I have downloaded the languages files and will see what I can do, my French is a bit rusty, thought I am one...

BTW You can now update Airio to version 2.25 on 500servers!

I'm probably going to do what crady suggested, but i don't want to do things twice so I have started a support ticket at 500servers to ask for full update of airio before i do.
