Here are some classic F1 and other class racing videos. Mostly crashes and breaking moments of the history. Anyone easily offended dont get in - some shocking moments.
I can't find the thread about real cars that could be put in S3 the same way as MRT or Raceabout . I've found a project of small company doing Morgan-like fast roadsters. It's not that popuar so I think the licence wouldn't be a problem, since the company is in developement and only selling 20 cars a year and trying to increase that number.
"4D Sports Driving" is known as "Stunts" in pC version.
Here's the link for abandonware site where you can download the game legaly: http://www.staregry.pl/?c=_rv&i=375#
Nothing else to add. Just realised that there is no game that simulates huge american muscle car racing <really sad :sadbanana> ... apart from Toca 2 and 3, but they seem too arcadish unfortunatelly.
The only car class in LFS I'm dreaming about is Trans Am' racing vehincles from 68 - 72 (there was supposed to be a game "Trans Am' 68-72" but was cancelled , .... bastards). Just look at them ....
... aren't they beatiful ? :lovies3d::bowdown::sleep1:
System reqs would not change, since DirectX 9.0 effects could be easily turned off. There is difference between 8.0 and 9.0 in definition - 9.0 is supprort for Shaders 2.0 and 3.0. DX 8.0 is usage of 1.0 shaders. As far as I know.
However I would very likely see effects like Paralax Lightning, Depth smooth and some motion blur. They are quite easy to implement.
I realise that the course have to end in the same place where it start co I think the course would look like some NFS1/2/3/4 courses. Well I don't have anything against it.
When I'm racing with my friend we're always talking on Skype the same time. But It's only the solution for group of friends you know already. However I think VOIP on the same server with LFS would be more laggy so it's not the good idea. I was playing Soldier of Fortune 2 MP and a lot servers from my country had VOIP channels on other servers. When I was logging in the ip of the Talkserver was on the screen. Same could be done in LFS.
What is your graphic card? LFS is running even on old Riva TNT 2 (25 fps when no car visible), so I think either you don't have drivers installed or you have smth below the Riva
I've just downloaded the first available old version of LFS (additional downloads -> old versions). Am I the only one who think GT model in that one looked a lot like '8x Camaro. I must admit I like it much better.
