Actually the GT5 video reveals some more flaws than LFS videos you provided. Faults that can be noticed in LFS :
- improper handling of springs that were damaged (in reality they would just snap and leave the car on the ground)
- drivetrain immortality (the car would just stop moving)
In GT5 its similar but you can also notice that the center of the mass point in the bigger cars is set way too high. The physics engine also is not calculated frequent enough to make the wheels stay above the ground (for such heavy cars) which leads to the last point - when the wheel happens to be under the ground it is treated as a spring and launches the car into the air.
The real question is not how accurate the 3d scanner is ( 2cm or less some say ) but how many measurements are taken for one square meter of the track.
I have a simmilar one. Marathon Pro, Lighweight Pro and Commando Pro ( or Ninja Pro if I want play some sneaking ). Main gun - Vector ( this SMG is pure awesome - almost no recoil + long range ), Secondary gun - Magnum'44 with tactical knife. Tactical knife is faster than normal knife, i believe. And I stilll have a magnum that I use to shot down a guy when he is too far away. It is said that you can run even faster with a Care Package smoke grenade equipped.
Try using Holo sight instead of red dot sight. It always shows where the bullets will be shot at even when the gun is not perfectly stright. Helps a lot when you are trying to shot down a fast moving target.
Dont use Lenovo site - they are using outdated drivers :/ Go to Intel site and download latest from there. You may have problems with "this driver is not Lenovo certified" however you can unpack the drivers from Intel site and use "Update driver" option in Hardware Manager to work-around it.
Intel drivers should be updated very often - many bugs have been fixed recently.
I started making reviews of small vehicles that can be used for time trialing on the little mountain track on "Island" map. I will post reviews of cars you can find in ROR and on the ROR repository. I will concentrate on how they behave on the small twisty track. What are their good and bad sides. I am no Stig so the times will not be perfect so I will try to write down the best section times and sum them up to find out what would be a perfect lap.
What controller do you recommend for the game ? I tired using keyboard and G25 and both were unplayable. I want to buy a game, however I would have to buy a controller to play it
I use G25 at 540 degrees with FF turned off.
The game creators don't possibly know about existence of such thing as understeer so geting into a corner with wheels turned maximaly to the corner direction is the best way to turn - which is impossible to do fast with FF on.
I remember that experimental tyre temperature chart was shown in F1 training or qualifying session showing that temperatures change much more rapidly than in LFS (like +10/15 celsius on one single braking).
