yh alot of hire karts have those, the ones i usualy race( biz karts) do, its cos its easy to overheat the brakes or burn the clutches out if you so called double pedal

6th november is the last one of the races i do this year so there is a chance of rain and its gonna be cold no matter what so things could get interesting

technically not purchased yet but booked, 2 hour lesson for the price of 1 hour (£22) booked for the 14th of november and my provisional arrived this morning so all is lookin good

well i intend to definatly not be like that lol, and like i said maybe they have got rid of the bad marshals hence there is currently a shortage of marshals, ive heard stories from neil(who is medical oficer, head marshal etc) of what some are like and it really pisses him of because he is himself an experianced marshal

thats why im starting cos i think my uncle (who is the manager there) has just got rid of a load and as i karter myself i definatly wont be one of the ones who sits there doing nothing

and if you got banned its cos they had good reason to not just cos of what marshals did, im not making any judgements as i dont know the details of the incident but i can almost guarentee the actions of a marshal was what got you banned

im a semi karter, do some hire races and about to start doing some marshalling at bayford meadows but really want to get my own kart

also another little thing to maybe consider i dont currently use multiple screens but if i did i would love to have when spectating the extra screens which currently are just blank show things like a timing sheet etc, and for it to be possibe to set what and if you want it to show and on whuich screens, even for example the chat being moved onto one of the screens. i know this thread isnt really for feature suggestions but as scawen is working on that area atm it may be something worth looking at

this one has happened to me a few time, my monitor power cable is quite a heavy one and goes from the back of me monitor (were it conects upwards) to the floor with no support so over time it works loose and hs on a couple of occasions droped out during a race

one of the first things that impressed me about lfs was the way the pricing was structured, in that you could go from s1 to s2 for the same as goign straight to s2, so many game devepoers would have made it more expencive to do the stages and this displayed an attitude to game development and marketing that is so very different to everything else but also so refreshing to see. another £12 to go to s3 would be a huge bargin, another £24 would still be a good deal, and i would pay without hesitation, the only reason people are seeing it as expencive is because lf is so god damn cheap for what you actually get not just in the game but in the way the whole community and game developent is run.

well i race these babys (pic attached) yes as you can see twin engine hire karts lol, if only i could afford to own and race something like a tkm. i do an hour enduro (2 drivers) once a month with a bunch of guys from work and freinds, also have the odd practice session and also raced in the last bayford 50, technically i shouldnt be racing twins(supposed to be 18 lol) but ive proven i can handle them and am reasonably quick, especially as ive only done 3 races and am already up with the guys who have been doing it for years. i want to take it further but the chances of that are slim, but one can only hope lol. hopefully i may be doning the lemans 24 hour kart race next year as part of the college team which should be a good laugh.

also i maybe buying the helmet of the guy behind

ive got another race this friday(penultimate one this year) and if i trust my dad with my camera there may be some pics of me racing

to do a jan de roy: get banned from rally cross for dangerous driving then go racing offroad trucks instead (oh joy)

i like them, went to see them for the second time at brands a couple weeks ago, the racing is ok, could be beter, but the sound is amazing lol

i dont get why some people in the community are such whining arses people moaned about there being no real tracks, a real track is announced and then they moan about the track. as for the track, lookin good, i do like rockingham and judging by the screenies its looks great, and i cant wait to drive it. im also happy that the lfs name seems to be getting about a bit more now within the racing comunity

well the centre diff is in operation every time you corner, that is its reason for being there and if you were to shift with a hshifter during cornering it would have an effect of unbalancing of the car due to the suden change in state of the centre diff, the only place were it wouldnt be a problem would be on the straight

c ftw when it comes to the c20xe(red top) or the c20let but the x engines are good, x14xe, x16xe bith very god engines, and as for z engines not just the z20let but the z16ler z20 leh and more

depends what vectra, and what year, it is possible although unlikly it is a z engine with fly by wire throttle, whcih could make things a little harder as the z engines ae more complex electronically, the x engines aint that bad tbh are reasonabbly self contained in the electrics etc and aint that compliacated

tbh it is possible to put it on a kart for the love of god i cant think why. it really wouldnt be worth it, making it power a blender would be more sensible tbh. out of interest which engine is it, engine code if poss but i can work that out if you aint got it

been to the original when i was little, and the new one(kent) about 4-5 year ago in the winter with all the snow stuff working

i agree with intrepid, i have had times were i have been caught out by not being that very experainced and expecting the kart to run run wider cos of the higher sped i was doing but it actally turned better that the laps before when i took it slower cos the rear wheel was lifting more, you have to rememeber that they are soklid axle and to make them turn you have to make the inner wheel travel over less ground than it wants too, eith by waving it in the air or by spinning it, the former being the better option.

i do admit i only have a small amount of experiance actaully racing karts but understand how they work pretty well

ive seen them many times at brands hatch and they are great to watch, tiny/ simple cars= great close racing, imho it would make an excellent support series for the btcc basicly due to the action it involves, its quet wierd them suporting the truck racing cos you then have the largest and one of the smallest vehicles racing in the uk
