new class suggestion

i have just come up with an idea for a possible new class. after reading the race 2 bronze thread i was wondering about a possible additional class in race 2 consisting of restricted tbo's(maybe called the tbf's "turbo fun") and the license requirement would be bronze.

i know there would or could be problems but what do you think ?

tbh i love rallyx, mostly cos im a bit better at it than circuit lol, i think a new server is pointless, there will not be enough to fill it (there maybe be enough but im not confident) or to make it worthwhile, i would love to see someway of making rallyx more popular, not just by the ctra but in lfs as a whole because if peple stick with it rallyx it can produce excellent racing and it never used to be so unpopular??

yes and no, to model basicly then yes i cant see it being to hard but to model it properly then i can see it being quite time consuming. but then i dont know much about game programming lol.

i think it is possibly something for the future, not right now if you get what im saying.

yh but there is more important things to spend the time on, im not saying it wouldnt be good to have, it would, although only really for drag, but it is not needed as much as alot of other things and has limited aplication

tbh to have an automatic gearbox and to simulate an auto box you need to simulate the torque conveter and to model one acuratly as i understand it is hard enough

yh matching it with the lx4 would be good, that could be done using engine size, i said 3l cos thats thefirst one that came to mind
Rxo

why shouldnt we have an rxo? it wouls be like the fxo(same body possibly) but rear wheel drive (hence the rxo) and would maybe have a n/a engine, something like a 3 litre inline 6 to semi emulate the bmw 330

just wanted to see what people thought of the idea

Quote from BigPeBe :I have to say that the clutch is not really that realistic. A proper clutch IRL can take some abuse. You can't slip the clutch in a racecar like you can in a road car tho, they need a different way of usage.
But it is like that to prevent flat shifters, I think.

well actually it depends, the road car clutches ingame do heat to quickly imho but saying that racing clutches cant stand up to being sliped is wrong, because of the carbon clutches used in the btcc for example the way the cars get of the line quickly is with alot of clutch slipping(on purpose) and they are fine

Quote from Rappa Z :No americands, because then we'd see a few of these

now you see the americans only attend oval meatings and kyoto is a bit far to travel lol

*waits to get shot by people from alabama*(think top gear)

Quote from TFalke55 :... why don't they just use the course, the finale of the Tour de Farce rides... okey... it would be a bit like bullriding to mannoever the F1 cars over the Champs Elysee, but definatly it would be interssting to see...

to be serious, when bernie wants to have a french grand prix near to the capital, LeMans would be the best solution... it's only 1 1/2 h away from Paris, and LeMans loves motorsport. They could extend the Bugatti circuit a bit to one of the permanent road racing course parts of the circuit de la sarthe or so, to make it more interesting.

why bother just use the full size lemans circuit, now that would be interesting

i do like this idea and it definatly needs to be implemented along with again warmup laps so you can heat your brakes
