i watch the btcc all the time and i liked it today i missed race one and a couple support races, you say about driving standards but i always say they seem lower at knockhill because its a track were opotunites must be taken and if an opotunity arises people will go hell for leather to capatalise on it meaning often more acident and door rubing happens. though it does make for some spectacular action

Quote from RacerAsh3 :Yea, they sell and trade virtual drugs, which i think isnt sending the right message out to the younger people of the community...

i havent actually come across this and luckily i didnt cos i think this idea is absolutly unbelivable

i think liberty cruise have taken it a bit to far imho

they dont try and be unique they just try and have the most features, that may suite some people but not me

well the hard shell of a crash helmit would give out sound over a large area meaninfg it would be almost unidentifiable but the human ear were the car is

all i can say here is ive discussed this with tristan here before and lost badly so good luck lol

but the more i think about it the more what tristan says becomes viable because i can imagine a helmet will distort any of the sounds direction other than side to side

i think it is a very good idea in all honesty, it would have to be done carefully and maybe not even as seperats you download yourself but as content that comes with the game automatically so everyong with lfs and s2 or s3 as it may be has the same content to stop all the confusion with online racing and people not having the correct car/tract to use on that server

erm aj its already finished
i was cutting it extremly tight but as dan is second reserve as such (although im not sure if sam will be busy) he still has a chance, then were going to miss rounds 2 and 3 as we will be in cyprus but may get to an internet cafe and watch the race as s06 via lfs remote

oh yh ive seen that before now i think about it but a 2.4 v8 what is the point a v8 needs to be 3.5 litre + imho. that does look mean though, still unmistakably a 7 but a bleedin powerful one

Quote from ajp71 :It looks like the man in charge of the Chinese car industry's cheap rip off department has come along and mashed a Seven and a 300C together with hideous results.

I think trying to look for a 'modern Seven' is silly, a Seven is the quintessential spaceframe box with for wheels two seats and an engine in the front, there's very little you can do with it to make it stiff enough to cope with high power outputs because of the highly limited space for cross bracing a full rollcage is about the only way of getting away with it. They have put carbon fibre bodywork, sequential 'boxes and very good lightweight bike derived V8s, which the design can't handle, into them. The Seven doesn't need to (and can't really) evolve into anything else it is about as simple and cheap as a car can get and should be left like that.

i do agrre withn you here that the seven ahould be left as is but if you were to modernise it you would redesgn it using a carbon fiber body and maybe chassis so it could handle the power but keep the look

Quote from J@tko :Then you would actually have to get someone to stop your car floating away on windy days

yh but imagine an engine with a higher power to weight ratio that a highabusa in a car that weighs less than a piece of paper, me thinks:fun, very scaring but f*****g excellent lol (oh and rather quick)

Quote from Furiously-Fast :Yeah, I noticed that. On the FXR, then rev would do a 360 when you go from 6th to 1st, then the engine just shuts down.

Shouldn't oil/engine temp only happen to damged cars? If you do long races and these start to be a problem, It won't exactly be fun.

that is some of the skill of enduro racing, looking after the car, during enduro races a driver will drive differently to a sprint just because he has to look after the car, i think it adds some fun to it

it helps with graphic rendering, basicly i understanding it as one card sorts the graphpics output one sorts the proccessing, i could eb wrong but the base idea is they share the load

looks good, will certainly handle lfs with ease, and should deal fine with everything else, dont know much about the phenoms tbh the only thing i dont like is it is ati graphics but thats more of a personal dislike i have

tbh a modern 7 would be basicly a seven but using things like carbon fibre alot more, to bring the weight down even more and a maybe more clever engine with a better power to weight ratio(though the highabusa(sp)does a good job) and maybe a couple of not too intrusive electronic gizmos like tc, that must be able to be turned off of course, and a 7 dont need air con, it already has it its call nrff air con, no roof fing fast air con were the temp it changed by you right foot lol

ive used cad a bit and it can depend on the software, how many cores it can handle etc and also can depend on how many monitors you want to run, i would recommend a good gfx card, a powerul dual or possibly quad core prossessor if the software can handle it and i would imagine alot of ram more than that i dont know this is just what i imagine you would want

i know it wouldnt cut the ignition that would just cause revs to fall and do almosta s much damage but reducing throttle to maintain engine speed is the bit that is important for several reasons, as you stated turbo boost level and things liek clutch wear(although minimal), gearbox wear(again minimal) but also important a smooth ride

Quote from Becky Rose :Dear God I hope we dont have James Allen or Steve Ryder next year! A new team please.

Louise Goodman is ok, Martin Brundle is brilliant, the rest should be kept as far away from an "ON AIR" sign as possible.

yh will be a sheme if martin brundle goes but i sorta agree on the rest
