Week19 stats are a mess. There was some earlier years runs in stats already when layout was loaded and now they have remained in the top list printed in VGP web site. There are names in top list who did not even made a time in this years layout. You can see the old runs with totally different split times.

Same seemed to happen this weeks wk20 layout. There is some stats from runs in earlier years when layout was loaded.

As stated many times in this message chain it is more of a problem in demo servers. Also like Rony said, server owners are responsible how they are managed.

One way to help on this matter would be to assign a password for the server. The password could be shared in server owners forum after registering to it or on dedicated discord channel or some other meaningful way which is not too easy but not too difficult either.

This method would suit of course the best for server hosts, who have multiple servers and could keep one server without password, where racers could find the information how to get password for other servers.
Or if it would be possible to have password assigned to server and same time one joining the server can see the welcome text including information how to get access to it but cannot enter the server, then it would be possible to do for a single server hosts also.

I would do this kind of arrangement if we would still have servers running, maybe some day ...

Brief description of incident
Approaching to T3 which is right hand turn before entering to pit or turning to oval section of the track, car #24 decides to shortcut the turn through sand and comes back to track almost sideways in font of my car #14. I had no time to react for the move so hit car #24 on the side and we both drifted outside the track and lost many positions. I was lucky to survive from that move with minimal damage and only couple of positions but of course your driving rhythm is lost for a while. It could have ended up much worse if car #24 would have returned just little later to the track. No major things happened now but wanted to report this move so car #24 driver would know these kinds of moves are a absolute no-go.

By the rule book in the section course of events it should be blue.

"Drivers shall compete the sessions in the correct name format: Beginning with the starting number in the class colour and followed by the in-game name as given in the sign-up script."

So it at least is allowed to use blue. We all are in same class though, so I guess it's up to organizer to state do we need to follow this item in rules or not.

We have seen during couple of past years many lfs leagues have been ramped down and vanished from leagues calender and same time many racers changing to other racing sims.

great to see you are back in business

We have been without servers from April 2016 after MHS ceased out its operations and same time sponsorship for us. MHS provided all our servers (total 10) for several years and we are really grateful for that support.

Already before we lost our servers the online activity was decreasing and has not shown to recover even near the active times of lfs. This is pity as lfs still is the best racing simulator for online multiplayer racing (when thinking of easiness to join races and the netcode in general).
Anyway the decrease of online activity is the main reason why we have not launched new servers, there are hundreds of empty servers (demo and licensed ones) just waiting for racers.

Personally I have been quite active in lfs but not so much into casual online demo racing anymore, more like racing in couple of active licensed racing leagues which are running in regular basis.

So don't give too high hopes to get server full of enthusiastic racers, you may need to be satisfied if +5 people races will take place.
If you really want to have some good racing, it may need to be some re-planned S2 event to gain some interest.

Let's hope brighter future for to gain back at least part of its old user base,

I would do it as one class series as apparently the interest towards endurance racing within lfs is not too high. To have some level of attraction also to possible newcomers I would suggest to go with GT2 or GT9(GTM) class and tailor the handicaps track by track to gain best possible equalisation between cars.

Also I would prefer a bit earlier start of the race, around 15-16 CE(S)T, that would give possibility my son also to race, at least the first stint of the race. Of course that would not be in favour for people from continents of America.
