Green party are a pile of idiots... From what i've heard, they will invest in green power.. or smn
Which can only mean they will increase the country's debt. And no doubt they will raise road fund license to £5034.85 per year for those who aren't stupid enough to buy an electric car
It depends what hose connections and sprinklers you have now as to what specific product you buy, but it seems in most places it's either 2 or 4 hose connections.
Tomba(FIN) is banned from Round 61 and 62 for insulting other Photomode entrants and generally bitching despite the addition of the NEW BONUS FUN RULE of 'No bitching', or words to that effect.
Constructive critisizm and helpful improvement suggestions are great, but outright handbag fights will from now on be met with a 2 round ban for offending induviduals.
There's no need just to pick a huge fight with someone just because you disagree with their editing techniques.
...
On a more positive note, there's some nice entries coming in so far
You may want to save your previews with higher quality settings, because visible pixelation in your preview isn't going to encourage anyone to vote for you.
The preview is exactly what is says: a preview - if the quality / compression of the preview is bad, people might assume the full size image is bad quality
Whilst you are fully entitled to your own opinion on whether or not you like people's pictures, I said no bitching.
I think that pedestrians having total right of way is just stupid, to be honest. When we've been driving around Amsterdam before, you have to stop at the pedestrian / bicycle crossings on the junctions into side roads. All this seems to do is clog up the main road and increase the risk of being rear ended by some idiot.
In the UK as far as I know, you don't HAVE to give way to the pedestrian unless they are already on the crossing. Although it is the done thing to stop if possible.
In some situations it just isn't appropriate to stop at a crossing, like if some fool just walks out from behind a building or something and decides they want to cross the road immediately.. or if you have an Audi following you
The .scs file within the attached RAR pretty much fixes steering problems for Euro Truck Simulator, German Truck Simulator and UK Truck Simulator. Just put the .scs file in My Documents\UK Truck Simulator\mod.
With this mod you can turn hard into corners without a total loss of steering. It's still not perfect but it is a HUGE improvement
Well it's been 55 rounds or 1 year, 8 months, 29 days, 18 hours, 9 minutes, 27 seconds since we last had this theme, so I think it's about time we had it again
Rules: (made by andRo., these will not be changed)
Make an edit of car(s) racing in the rain or right after the rain has finished
Cars: TBO + GTR Tracks: All Tracks (non-LFS tracks can be used, but they must not already have rain - you should make the rain yourself)
When you have finished your picture and want to enter it into the competition, please write 'Final Entry' in the relevant post.
You must provide a preview picture (no bigger than 400 x 400 pixels) as well as the High Resolution copy.
The preview picture does not have to be exactly 400 x 400 pixels - it can be smaller to maintain the correct aspect ratio (for example, 400 x 300 pixels)
Any entries with preview pictures bigger than 400 x 400 px will not be accepted
No renders or old images to be used and NO VOB MODS
You may incorporate external non-LFS images into your work, but you MUST give a link to any images used.
You MUST NOT use any LFS screenshot material that does not belong to you.
Competition Closes FRIDAY 7th MAY at 22:00 GMT
NEW BONUS *FUN* RULES:
- You must obey the rules
- No bitching/moaning/arguing
I don't know why everyone has started being so anal about everything recently...
All tracks = Anywhere except render scenes, basically (whether non-LFS locations are allowed is up to the person who decides the theme that week).
No VOB mods = It means quite simply No VOB mods... All other texture modifications, LFS Tweak (if you want a powersliding UF1 for instance), and revolution packs are allowed.
If next round's thread turns into a big argument, this could happen
I haven't had time to look at alternative voting systems, but will have a look for next round.
I might trial the following system:
Google Form, each picture has a scale of 1 to 5 with it, and when you vote, you rate the picture out of 5.
Then the average scores are calculated in the spreadsheet, and the person with the highest average wins.
I think for identity verification: I will have a field to enter your LFS username. After voting, you MUST post in the voting thread to confirm that you have made a vote (you do not have to specify who you voted for / what scores you gave). Any votes without a confirmation post will be ignored, and any self voting will also be ignored.
I was referring to 'you' as in everyone in the Kyoto 250.
I'm hoping that the Kyoto 500 will be better, because even though it is faster, the FO8 is kinda easier to drive round the oval than the XRT. Even I can drive FO8 / KY1 to an average standard :P
D0r1ft0!11 round the last corner seemed to cause a few incidents in the Kyoto 250, but you don't get this in the FO8
They will be opened this coming monday (probably). We were so busy with other stuff that we kinda forgot... and the logo is still work in progress
If you hadn't crashed so much it would have been easier
This is true.
You try to sift through a 3 hour replay, looking at about 20 incidents whilst simultaneously trying to run about 4 other leagues and also having to get a job / do a job (deko), revise for GCSEs (me), play army (Timo), run LFSCART and make videos (Falke), go to the pub (CSF/boothy) and have a life (others).
