Keeps buffereing while playing (is that me? nothing else is running though) making it look a bit choppy, but the quality looks good. (FF3.0.6)

Works with Google Chrome (1.0.154) as well.
Does not work with my IE7.
Works with my Opera 9.62.
Works great with Safari for Windows (3.2.2). It's much less choppy (buffering) for some reason. Works best so far for me.

I really like the look of it all, looks very realistic. Good job.

My troubles are coming from recreating the artsy parts on the sides. I'm still working on those.

Like it or not, the Audi Quattro is a car that just simply looks nice. So does many BMWs.

Anyways,

Simple and nice FTW!

Hans and a better looking (/modelled) helmet would help visual aspect for sure, and would be nice. 0 use, but would look cool.

Pretty good. However, I wasn't as blown away as I was with one of your previous videos you posted a while back. The video felt simpler, the opening portion of the clip could have been a little bit more worked on graphics-wise.

Wow, am I really starting to become a squid here?

PS: I prefer your black skin, hehe. Better overall look.

Was I the only one that felt "meh" about the video? It's not a bad video, au contraire, but I dunno. The music was too fast paced for the shots (became better near the end), and stuff. Anyways, I'm surprised squid didn't reply yet.

Unfortunately, even if the skins are loaded up to the LFSWorld servers, demo users won't be able to download them and view them in game. S2/1 users yes, but not demo . Best way is to distribute it to your fellow team members so you can all see your skins within your team, and maybe make it available for download for the other demo drivers you drive with. This would be the only way for them to get the skin if they are restricted to only playing the demo version of LFS.

I enjoyed the movie as well. Like PMD said, the fast pace and all is good. There's a few things maybe to fix in it, but I'll let squid take care of that :P

Same here. Now that's actually funny.

Looks a lot (I mean, A LOT) like YouTube, lol. The pages load quite fast and all. It's interesting.

Hey there,

I'll see if I'll get the time to retrace what I had done. I'll give you news within a few days to tell you if I get it completed or not.

I don't think that's usually accepted :P . Ask permission and they'll usually do it for you or something.

Here's what I had going so far (minus the wireframe, that shouldn't be there). Meh. It would be retraceable, but anyways, lol.

Well that's no good. I had something good going on, and the program crashed, without me saving.

I'll see what I can do.

EDIT: Would you want the NASCAR-style stickers on it?

Im getting his helmet design on my helmet in RL
Just a little modded though.

Nice. His helmet designs definately look quite cool. What version/year are you getting as a base? (if '09, get me some high res of the bg if possible :P )

Is it that urgent? I'm mising time and higher res images, though I can do with the ones I found. The background graphics are indeed tough to replicate and I won't be doing this helmet in 15 minutes. In the meantime, you could use his '07 lid.

I never posted my laptop on here now did I?

I'm trying it this year with LFS and it's not that bad. I runs pretty much the same as my tower (a little lower FPS in starts, but higher overall).

Both, Premier and Vegas. There's good things in each, such as the simple tracks and effects to find in Premier, but there's a few good options in Vegas. Though Vegas seems somehow complicated, there are good options (croping, multi-image, more effects) (basic mode) (that I don't know if they are in Premiere, haven't found them). But then again. I usually use Vegas.

Nice one Rob!

For me, I mainly specialize in replicating helmets, and I'll just got straight to it. When I have to do original helmets, I may sketch 'em up a bit on paper beforehand, but each one is different. As for cars, I just go ahead and try stuff out. I'm usually a fast worker when it comes to skins (really, everything graphic-design-related), but sometimes some original projects can take a long while.

The champion driver of the previous year gets the #1, his team-mate the #2, and then the other teams are sorted by constructor championship standings of the previous year.

Now who will get the #3 or 4, that is tough. Raikkonen seemed to be the more important driver, but it was indeed Massa who went the furthest up the standings and almost gave another drivers' championship to Ferrari. Tough to say.

Numbers are small nowadays because they don't mean anything really anymore. Except for the #1 car, there's no real meaning (except saying how high the team finished in last year's standings). Now if they could choose their numbers, now bigger numbers would be cool.
