As for the server, it should be up all the time. Some people can't always find it for some reason. Eventually it will be called LFS Indy League - Preseason, but it is currently called LFS-Indy Preseason Server (for some unknown reason). If not on list, try typing the name into the "find server" option, should work.

The LFS Indy League is a soon-to-come S2 league that will involve the maximum realism inspired by the real-life Indy Racing League* IndyCar Series*.

The LFS Indy League administration invites you to an invitational race day. We are looking for S2 LFS drivers that are willing to participate in a friendly yet very challenging race.


The LFS Indy League Preseason's Invititational Race Day will be run as follows:

Track: Kyoto Oval (KY1)
Car: Formula XR (FOX)
Laps: 40
Date: September 30th, 2006
Time: 10:00am EDT (14:00pm UTC)

The general LFS Indy League regulations will apply. Since the LIL website is currently not available for the public yet, here are the major regulations to follow during the race:
- Driving start.
- Must respect marshall decisions.
- No actual blue flag (Everyone is allowed to fight for position, but allowing leaders by is high gentlemency). Marshalls will inform.
- No messages (chat) are to be said during the race.
- Suspension break/major hit causes your race to end.
The continuity of th regulations as well as the details to these will be given upon request, and at the pre-race meeting on Teamspeak. (held 30 minutes beforehand)


All players must have Teamspeak and must be present for the pre-race meeting, as well as the race itself. All information will be given through this. No chat/messages are tolerated during the race. All information are transmitted through Teamspeak.


We are expecting high quality close racing coming from all you professionals. This race has as a role to prepare differen aspects of the LFS Indy League for the season itself, as well as to create a beta-stage broadcast coverage of the races.

Take note that lag will kill the race.

The Invitational race will be held on the official LFS Indy League server. You may practice on that server until the race, as you wish.


If you wish to participate in this awesome race, please post your interest in this topic. Spread the word as well. Race server will be password protected for the registered drivers during race day.


Tale note that we ask drivers to wear a different skin/color for the race in order to identify different cars for the broadcast.

It is the new MidlandF1 now called Spiker (sale a bit ago).

I did the '96 as well after I made my '97. Though I haven't released none of them yet. Still thinking about doing so, lol.

Westhill is somehow a must. A very modern F1 type of track.

I never quite understood why everything is reversed on one side...

To tell you the truth... 17 events? illepall They should simply of added Belgium in, to add a grandprix. The more the better.

Good to see Australia back as opener though.

A friend showed me a "car" he'd made. Really, it was a skin. I liked the idea. So I really started skinning before I ever tried the game. Downloaded, played a bit... Got addicted lol.

I've never seen a confirmation method at the start of a real race. And sometimes cars do stay on the grid on real race starts.

If a server is equiped with the anti-idle thing, then it's okay as such.

Talking of stopping those sleepers on the grid... Yet wake-up and check ahead to see if there's a stopped car. This is racing folks

I was wondering where' i could find the version of the layout of the oval that the OWRL uses. I saw it the other day... Just, can't find it anymore on their site. If someone has it.

Funny stuff. Has no point what-so-ever, but an amusing moment of viewing.

His whole career started going down the drain when he decided to buy Tyrell with his friend Pollock, thus racing for BAR, in 1999. The strangest this is that there are rumors that Pollock wants to do this again, with MidlandF1. It didn't work the first time... Why would he want to do that mistake again? (speaking of Pollock). But i don't think Villeneuve would be interested. Especailly starting/finishing like 20th or 21st. Meh.

How do you get to these places, lol. Wow. Especially the big long track? Nice.

No brakes? No Rimz? No shadows? Cameras going through car chassis?

Apart from that, I guess it could have potential.
