I decided to start my own team after the last one I was in sort of 'fizzled out', so here I am with Moo Racing. I have a skin for the FXR and FXO with the rest hopefully coming in the next month.
We have a website located at www.mooracing.co.uk. The website is currently version 1.0 and I'm hoping to have it at 2.0 by August
At the moment we aren't accepting new recruits as we feel that the current members need to get to know each other. After all, it's better to have a small number of good friends than a large number of people you don't really know that much
We currently have two servers:
Moo Racing 1
and
Moo Racing 2
Current Members Moo.Danny
Moo.S14 DRIFT!
Moo.Whykonen
Moo.Looney
Moo.Martin
Moo.Ast*
Moo.Trebor
Moo.Frenchy
Moo.Scrabby
P.S. The 'Moo' and the nickname part of the racername are white in-game but since this background is pretty much white I'm gonna leave it black.
IMO any draught beer is horrible, I just don't like the taste. Give me a Heineken or Efes any day (On the warm/cold topic - I prefer cold but I'll happily drink beer at room temperature)
I found out I'm probably going karting on Saturday so I can't race, sorry. I haven't been in my kart for three months because I got pushed into a wall (in my kart)
First choice #74, second choice #24. Funnily enough, my first choice was #24 when I first started karting but it was taken so I had #74 instead, now it's my first choice.
I've done plenty of practice offline so i should be ok. Down to 1:33's with race fuel and what seems to be a good set for the race (it'll do 30 laps fine) but I'm pretty inconsistent, I'll do a 1:33 one laps then a 1:35 the next
EDIT: I got my dates wrong, heh. I thought the race was a week earlier.
I'm making the switch to Sky Broadband at the moment. The router has been delivered but no one was in so we have to go collect it sometime. I got an estimation of Wednesday 14th for the line to go active but I'll plug the router in when I get it and see if it works.
I haven't had broadband for two weeks and it's unlikely I'll get it until Wednesday. This is a bit of a problem with getting the laps on the server done since, IIC, I'll only have 3 days to do them. Can you make an exception for me?
Btw, what's everyone's GTR times with an endurance set and race fuel levels?
EDIT: Just read the rules and it says nothing about having to complete a set amount of laps, did I just make that up then?
Ok...... Thanks for telling me. I've just looked on 5Gig's forums and it was a server-wide incident a little while back. This league is dead anyway so I won't bother remaking the site.
One problem with your design is that I need somewhere to attach the G25's shifter to, although that could easily be added on. I'll have another go at it tomorrow.
I'm doing Graphic Products so we don't use ProDesktop unfortunately. My dad likes the idea of making it ourselves so I think that's what we're gonna do. Thanks for the help
Nicked from RSC + editted a little bit. It's similar to GrandSurf's design. There's still a couple of bits I don't like but I'll sort them out tomorrow.
I'm thinking about making it myself out of MDF, the only trouble is we don't have anything to cut it to size and I wouldn't trust myself to get it right anyway.
I've looked on ebay and found some 22" CRTs with free delivery for £69 BIN.
Add a system that I found posted in another thread (can't remember who by).
22" CRT (£69) x2
Acer T180 (£255.31) x 2
XFX 7900GS (£101.05) x 2
Total - £991.89
Grand total - £1769.39
I think that's a bit high to push him to so I think making the cockpits myself is the only way to go.
