Nicholander took out Rony in T1 and did not even post a sorry. I'm speechless. After watching replay, i think the guy is the most dangerous one I have seen in Rony's events. Edit: the sorry came later, ok, better. Still very dangerous driving.
I am going to buy two screens more and run LFS with triple screen. My current display is a cheap 24" Samsung Syncmaster.
What would you suggest as side displays? Maybe even a pair of 19" is enough? Is there reasonable benefit to have same size (24") displays on the sides?
Finally got my server active, but...lmao...control panel needs login and my rackservice pass dont work there... they provide zero instructions for new user and of course I am online when they are not and vice versa
In general I wonder why such "modified" servers can appear in multiplayer server list. So modified servers are officially supported? What does that even mean?
While I don't do cruise/drifting I am thinking they may have been the thing that has kept LFS alive these years. At least there is a reason people still buy LFS licenses, giving feeling to Devs that this is worth to developing. And in multiplayer there is always someone hanging around. So LFS is not dead, as we can see, many racers are constantly polling the forum, some of them are waiting for interesting races at cruise servers etc.
If you look at some other sims that are more modern than LFS, the multiplayer is no more populated - Raceroom, Automobilista, even rFactor2 multiplayer which seems alive but when you join the servers you realize all the "people" there are AI cars.
I really hope Devs give us a surprise and include in the graphics release also new car interiors.
Meanwhile lets enjoy the racing leagues that are still alive in LFS. There are some very good...lets say for an example, that Fragmaster's leagues collect weekly grids of 30-40 cars.
Its time to revisit old classical Fern Bay again. The layout will be even more exciting than the one we did back then. It will be a fully refactored reverse version with radical modifications on some parts.
It will have more cut restrictions (u know, we need to orientate our minds to new Fern Bay coming with sausage curbs etc..) and some other nice stuff. And: The Karussell will be introduced! (don't even think you know where it will be located, its not there but near)!
The tarmac part percentage will be little bit greater this time, meaning the RB4 will not be advantaged any more. Hopefully all cars will be on somewhat same perfomance level.
The event will be again a "mini endurance" meaning 2-3 hours. It will be run with TBO cars and probably (if running same pace), also LX4 will be an option.
I will put more information of the event, when I get things finished and have 9397 Racing server back online.
