I think I've acutally found a way around this bug. After you type "/o setup" click on the description (so you see the whole description) and wait a few seconds. Then click on "get set" and it works. If you don't do this, 9/10 times when you click on "get set" nothing will happen.

Another bug is if you spectate and type "/o setup" and get a set, the set will be for the car you are spectating rather than the car that is selected in your garage.

I get this sometimes.

try quiting LFS, then un-plugging the G25. Plug it back in and let it auto-calibrate. Go into LFS's options and turn the AXIS to UNLOCKED. then click on recalibrate and turn the wheel all the way to the left, and all the way to the right.

If the FFB is still engaged go into Controller Options on your computer and see if the wheel is working there. If that doesn't work un-plug the G25, un-install all the drivers, re-install them and reboot ur machine.

EDIT: I've most recently got this when I've had 2 controllers plugged in. If you do too, unplug the other one and try everything again.

If ur 100% sure that u have the right password.....then you better go talk to one of your friends. Looks like someone got greedy. If thats not the case then isn't it possible that the devs already banned your S2 account?

I've acutally JUST finished making one using an actual handbrake from my local Pick-Your-Part.

First I went to pick ur part and ripped out the whole center console and the handbrake. I then bought some plywood and built a small box (support for the center console) and then made a bigger box to put the joystick into. I cut holes in both boxes (stacked on top of each other) and attached a string from the handbrake cable mount to the joystick. It works PERFECT. I will add some photos soon.

EDIT: Added 2 pictures. As you can see on the first pic, I have 2 more steps to finish. First is to make a mount for my shifter at the front of the console. Second is to cover all the wood in a felt like material.

Ya, I'm having somewhat of the same problem. I'm on BL1R with the XRT, I get a set and it works in seconds. I change car to....XRG, or XFG, and a few others, I type /o setup, then find the set I want. Click on "get set" and nothing happens.
Another car that DOES WORK is the XFR

Ya, I've gone through about 2 different LFS "bored" stages. both were because of crappy / no updates for month after month. I normally play for half a year, then quit until a big update comes out.

I know what you mean by not having the time to find the best setup for each combo. But almsot any of the sets on any of those sites are better than the stock sets. If your racing.....XRG at BL1, just go download any of the numerous sets for that combo, then just change the tire pressure. Done. Of course there will be better ones for your driving style, but for just a pick-up race it will do you wonders.

EDIT: Oh...and +10000 for the idea of one set races / stock set races. I think it would be fairly easy to implement and create great racing.

+1, this is sort of what Dajmin said. Would other people be able to see what you voted? or would it be anonymous? The other problem with having them just be kicked out for one race is that soon as the race ends, they will re-join and just start wreaking everyone again.

I think you missed the point. You said, who cares about wreaking it is virtual not reality. No one gets hurt. BUT, as people have said, they like to rest their hands on the wheel in such a way that when they get rammed unexpectedly, the forcefeed back can BREAK FINGERS. I don't know about you...but I would think that hurts.

Plus, having everyone turn into a ghost at the end of a race isn't real, and takes away from the immersion we all like from LFS.

Lastly, you said to have everyone spectate soon as they finish race, but the whole issue is that people try to test their setups or learn the track, and then get wreak by some idiot. Testing setups would be impossible if everyone was spectated.

(that is the problem) I believe you have to type somthing like _eng in the chat or something then press shift-A

In the new version you don't need to, just pressing Shift+A brings up the menu.

You start at 1000. Each negative vote takes some off, each positive adds some on. I see problems here, but I do think your on to something Some sort of voting system where each racer can vote as they see fit, but not some mass vote where everyone wants to fit in whether they saw the crash or not.

The is becuase u are what is called a DEMO USER...it won't work no matter what. If you are talking about your friends LFS with S2 then make sure you have the right track selected.

I have had that problem...Change track to autocross at the button will be there It depends on what track. For some reason ramps arn't allowed on certain ones.

so in other words your wheel starts to turn when you start sliding....that is called countersteering and is....NORMAL

After reading this thread I am starting to remember A LOT of weird things that happened to me when I was young.

Once all I remember is me walking into my room, seeing myself floating in the corner of my room and then feeling tiny pins and needles all over my body...

One time I jumped off a green electrical box in my front yard and I remember falling and then landing on my bed then waking up and jumping straight out of bed.

I ALWAYS get the completely numb arm. It feels so weird when I wake up because it feels like my arm is 3x thicker, and super heavy. It's almost scary when I wake up and feel a random arm against my back... "WHO THE F#@k is in my bed?" lol

And bout the alarm clock thing, it is the same with me. I always set my alarm clock, then when I wake up it is always within 5 minutes of when my clock goes off.

1. Use DXTweak and calibrate the joystick axis for a 50% deadzone (so it is 0 when it is centered)

2. Plugging in a different, or another, wheel or joystick always makes the controller settings go whack, just reprogram them in LFS

3. You might be able to use an external program to program the joystick throttle to act as the arrow keys (brake bias).

No one in my family sleep walks or sleep talks. but one time when we were camping in this little fold up camper my brother fell out becaues my dad forgot to zip up the side my brother we sleeping on. he fell 4 feet to the ground, got up..banged on the front door and yelled for a couple minutes until my mom let him in. Then jumped over me and went back to bed. Next morning my mom asked how he slept and he said he didn't wake up once... So funny, I can't believe he didn't wake up when he fell onto the gravel.

is it just me? or can that be hooked up with a steering wheel (ex. G25)...or is just a really expensive model for show?

Just wanna ask? Don't know if you got another account or anything... But what is with the S2 version of the cruise mod? Seeing as how you are only demo? what is the difference between the S2 and Demo mod?
