LOL, all you guys with your 16, 17 and 18 years old for ur licenses.

In Canada I got my learners at 14 and I can get my license at 16. At 18 I am a full licensed driver.

The test was BULL****.. I studied for it for about 1 month, just causally, nothing hardcore. I took the test and the average questions was. What is the name of a red octagon with letters on it...There was nothing about street lights or other drivers.

I can't remember what the solution was, but it was pretty easy. I know there is already a thread explaining how to fix this. Use Search and type in something like Tire Smoke?

I couple things changed from Patch X, to Patch Y.

First: The folder in which you put your setups is called "settings" in patch X
In patch Y, the same folder is called "setups"

Second: In patch X, setups were named "myset.XF_GTI"
In patch Y, setups are now named "myset.XFG" (the abbreviated word for the car"

If you download patch Y sets from inferno, and are using Patch X, you need to change the file names.
Example: Patch Y set for XRG at BL1 = BL1.XRG
Patch X set for XRG at BL1 = BL1.XR_GT
Vise-versa for using Patch Y and downloading Patch X setups.

Weird... Just want to let you know that for LFSworld to be updated with last race details..you need to race online. For personal records you also need to be in hotlap mode rather than in singleplayer.

How would the pedals work? They arn't USB, they just plug into the wheel. If you want this to work, you need to find some USB pedals...

why would he download ALL the sets for ALL the cars...seeing as how he can only use three.

I understand why hungryhippo would, but liamjefford has no reason to. He should just download the ones that he wants...seeing as how there are only three he needs.

Yah, but can't you order an LFS CD? that is why I thought Rfactor was the game, because normally they don't have CDs for just the demo.

Shouldn't they have DEMO on the CD then, and before I load it up? lol

LOL, well Rfactor isn't as good as LFS, a free game IS a free game. and it isn't the demo.

On Christmas day I recieved a G25 from my family, I was so exicted I didn't take a lot of time and look at the CDs. My dad took them out and saw two. 1 was the installation CD, the other an anonymous CD which was thought to be a information CD. He handed me the installation CD and put the other one away, after I handed the CD back to him he put it right on top of the "anonymous" CD. A couple months later / TODAY, I decided to clean up my room and thought I'd better move the CDs. I picked them up, and to my surprise the anonymous CD was infact !RFactor!. LOL.

If you guys have had moments like these, feel free to share them

The demo in LFS is the only reason that I don´t play netkarpro instead of LFS. So they can choose to have me to make the comunity bigger or they can choose to loose me. It´s up to them and not up to you.

LOL...ok then. If you would of acutally quoted my whole post you will see that I said I hate demoers who whine for more stuff thinking they have the right to it. I don't care about demoers who play the game as is... If they want more stuff then they buy the game. But where do people get off thinking they can argue with us thinking that they deserve better tracks and cars.

not really.. here in Alberta there are ppl online from early in the morning to around 5:30 at night... Then on weekends till around 7 at night. I guess if you get up at 7, leave for school and are home at 4 there isn't a lot of time..but

Yah.. You can use ANY mod that doesn't give you an advantage.. hurt someone else, or cause troubles in the server.

Yah..it will take a couple weeks to get used to the wheel and shifting. Then you should go get a decent setup... The Race_S sets can't do WR times so go to Inferno, Setupfield or somthing and get a set

I know that paddle is the same as sequential, but for me the BF1 cant use the shifter. I have to use the paddles otherwise I can't shift.

I know, I accidently put Formula rather than BF1...

H-pattern: UF1, XFG, XRG, XRT, RB4, FXO, LX4, LX6, FZ5, FZR, UFR, XFR, RAC

Sequential: FBM, FOX, FO8, MRT, XRR, FXR

Paddle: BF1

Road cars and FZR can use h-pattern, sequential, AND paddle.
GTR and open-wheelers can use Sequential AND paddle.
BF1 can ONLY use paddle.

To change these settings, go into LFS and make sure w/e type of shifting you are using is selected. Then make sure the buttons are correctly assigned to shift-up or down.
