With that rig, you would be able to play all the newer games on the highest or high settings

DirectX 9 Games should all run on the highest (there may be a couple of exceptions) and DX10 should run on medium to high settings (Even the best computers can struggle with DX10 on highest setting IMHO).

I was just wondering, seeing as ill probably wait a month for the newer cards to come out, would theyre be any danger in moving my current old card to the new computer while i wait for the new cards? Or would it be just best not putting any graphics cards in until i get the new one?

And is there any real bonus to quad core? Apart from the fact it has four cores?

And is vista really worth getting it? My dad has it and i dont see anything performance wise thats better, to me it just seems like a pile of shniz. And it constantly asks you if you want to move a file!!!! |:| Which is really annoying because sometimes im trying to move lots of files and if vista keeps asking if i want to move the files ill go mad lol.

Seems a pretty decent spec for the price, although dont count on the battery lasting too long :P

If anyone else doesn't shop around for you, i will tomorrow - too tired now though lol

Drop to a Radeon 3850, overclock it and get a better PSU, no point getting that system and having the PSU wipe everything out after a few month's :/

Edit: I heard the 3850 is the equivalent of a 3870 Pro when overclocked by a good margin.

I think it's just a case of wait and see, but i don't have my hope's up for Codemaster's pulling anything remotely sim or realistic like out the bag.

Best bet is to wait for CTDP to make the 2008 season for rfactor IMHO, although that will be a while yet!

I'm running a 17inch Hanns-G now and the colour is excellent, the whole package is extremely good!

I'm considering buying a 20inch + as well later this year and i shall definitely be buying Hanns-G again.

Been to Bayford Meadow's once, went Karting with my Mum's work. Was good fun - really enjoyed it, although i gave a it a bit to much throttle on the first lap and had a mini spin lol. (Was about 8pm i think, pretty damp track.) Got 3rd fastest lap too, which was quite good. Im sure i will go again soon but it's pretty expensive for me, as i don't have much money :/
