Got a question for you smart lfs forumers
Im thinking about getting a dual sim phone, but i dont actually understand how they work, i mean like do both sims work a the same time? Or do you have to swap between them in os? Or do you have to restart the phone to change?
Im currently on a contract with unlimited texts, and i want to get another sim card with another company which gives me unlimited data for £5 a month.
So how would this work on a dual sim phone? Would i be able to easily write a text and send it with the unlimited texts sim, and then go straight into a web browser and start browsing with the unlimited data sim?
Oversteered to the left coming out of the corner, tried correcting it, car went into a spin, did about 90 degrees hit a wall on the other side of the road side on, bounced off the wall and span another 270 degrees in the same direction before stopping a fair bit down the road back on my side of the road again.
Scary as ****!
Not too sure why you'd want something like a 600cc GSXR engine?
If your making a little lightweight buggy imo that'd be just stupid.
A good friend of mine does go karting and he has a Rotax 124cc Engine in his go kart (Exact same engine from an Aprilia RS125) and his go kart would happily do over 100mph.
Stick a smaller front sprocket on it and it'll do about 90 tops but it'll get there shit quick.
I don't know what putting a 600cc engine in a little go kart/buggy would be like but im sure it'd be just too much power for something like that.
I read that.
Which makes me think that my 4th and 5th gears are going to be extremely short.
Strange that 3 gears will get it up to 80. And then the last two only add another 15.
No of course not, but going from a 50cc bike which does 60mph ragging the tits off it, to a car which does 80ish MPH with 2 gears left to go is quick for me.
Not at all, i only have 2 bikes, granted ive had 4 bikes over the last year.
Scooter was given to me for my birthday,
Motorhispania Furia was £200, money loaned from a friend.
Aprilia RS125 was £150, bought myself from my savings, sold for £200.
Peugeot XR6 was £450, bought myself from my savings.
This car was £850, money loaned from parents.
I'm not rich at all, i struggle to find money for petrol. I've only managed to afford all these things by taking money out of my savings (which is now all gone) and from loaning money off parents or this one friend.
I know, but i didn't have enough space to get into 4th or 5th.
Yup it's all original, its the Sporting Abarth version of the Seicento. Which comes with alloys, spoiler, side skirts, front & rear bumpers and a different interior.
Pretty quick as well, had 78ish MPH out of it in 3rd.
I've seen a motorbike for sale on ebay which is for sale in mainland england, problem is i live in the channel islands and its pickup only So i can't exactly go and pick it up.
It's going extremely cheaply due to it being a non runner but i only need it for parts anyway.
So i was wondering if anybody knew of a company who would go to the Sellers address, pick up the motorcycle, and bring it down through England, and then across the water to me in Jersey in the Channel Islands?
Also any clue on how much this would cost?
Thanks
Not these ones exactly but bassicly the same ones.
Oh and ALSO, i didn't pay for these but got them free through warranty as the backlight on my first ones went
So now im running a 10.2 system until i sell my old ones haha!
Ahah fair enough, i don't have anything against old style bikes but i'd never get one althoguh a friend of mine has a Suzuki TS which is 1980 something? And i like that.
I have a thing for laydowns, so smeh that it's 50cc, i can only ride a 50cc until im 17 in June and i wanted a laydown badly so i decided to just get one.
Eitherways once im finished with it it'll do a fair bit, going to put a full power pipe on it, racing clutch, 70cc kit, bigger carb possibly, sport air filter possibly, rejet the carb as well, new tyres + forks + rear sprocket + chain and then god knows what else i can do to make it faster. I'm not going to bother with the RS i bought anymore. Far too much effort and i'd end up completely out of pocket if i fixed that up. I'd rather have a bunch of money and spend about half on my XR6, then in a few months sell it on and buy a running RS125.
So when i get my racing clutch that won't fix it? By engagement surfaces im guessing you just mean the bits that connect to the clutch bassicly? Are they/it replaceable?
It's extremely embaressing when im riding along smoothly and then suddenly it jumps into neutral revs loudly, making me look like an idiot.
Chrisuu you really like old looking bikes don't you?
I found out that the previous owner of my bike had derestricted the original exhaust front end but never rejetted it. Causing my bike to not idle and always have to run on the choke. Sorted it out now, changed the 60 jet for a 85(82 is recommended but i didn't have one). Also made the air intake hole slightly bigger. Runs great now. Also resprayed the exhaust to a grey when i had it off, looks quite nice imo. Also a friend put some blue rimtape on my back wheel, im waiting to get some money to do the front wheel too.
One of my friends parked it infront of a garage though, and when the owner of the garage opened it, badoom my bike fell over, snapped clutch lever. I can still ride it but it's just a bit of a nuisance until i get a new one.
Also i seem to have a slight problem, my bike seems to slip itself into neutral every so often, also gets jammed in neutral causing me to have to slam down a gear to be able to kick it back up. Anybody have any clue what's causing this?
Yes obviously old people are so much safer.
This would be why i had an old person pull out directly infront of me last week without indicating or looking to see if anyone was there, causing me to superman over there bonnet.
Yes sooooo much safer.
