hi me and sum friends runnin a server where we have safety car (1 player), and racecontrol.
now it is so that rc has 3 keys,
f1: "Safety Car"
f2: "Safety Car goes in pit this round" (sumthin like this lol)
f3: "Green Flag" (shortly shown)
f4: clear rcm
is it possible with script system to make the rcm blink?
like a time script? [on] [500ms pause] [off] [500ms pause] ???
patch v, i expected more than what it consists of (maybe cuz i had every testpatch, and every lil step since u)
i expected sum new graphics, more content, maybe a new car lol, like that Q -> S/T/U so what, maybe next time
i dont understand moaning bout the patch v sounds...
we saw a birth, the birth of the new sound sys. every born thing has to start living, has to grow and gettin older it learns to crouch, then to walk, ... one day it will be grown up and we are able to be with it all the time.
i personally liked f.ex. rac sound in q more than in v, but do i really? i maybe just like the roughness of q/u but v has more details. i first also moaned bout the sounds, but they are better than first feeling gives ya.
lets celeb xmas with our friends and family, n-joy autoupdater (wow lol sum more polygons per car or just driver/helmet would have make me happier) and the birth of the new soundsystem days will pass, patches will come, and we have the power to determine how the sounds will sound like in next patches

after sum days of playin the new sounds (U32-35), i must say i am kinda pleased for now, they are an improve so far (we all know they need more work to be really good).
i just want to say i would prefer a more hard exhaust simulation in sound for the future, i mean most of that cars are (really) racecars that should sound like RACE cars in RL its always chillin my neck when sitting in a race car and someone overtakes me (that CAN happen) and i listen his powerexhaust next to me, makes me more adrenalin than a loooong highspeedcorner
no need to argue here, its talk about U32 and U32 is mostly about sounds so your ideas and words are welcome todd.
my personal feeling is your system is nice but also not near perfect. anyway i dont think the devs will invite you to join dev'ing so maybe u could try to explain ways how YOU would improve the sounds.
anyway noone can blame you only becouz u make sum own cool synthsoundsys
hi dunno if this is a bug or just a PATCH U/U32 thing or general BUT:
when i start driving (now as example with xfr) and i accelerate, lets say to 100 kmh in 3rd gear and i just take my foot from hitting gas the engine/air intake/turbo slows down normal.
but when i clutch at 100 kmh in 3rd gear all is turned off... it sounds like i turned off my engine!! thats not normal or am i stupid?! almost every cars engine wont stop working/spinning just couz i hit the clutch.
adding... i really love the new sounds esp when u racing hard next to each other... sounds way better now, more real couz u listen others mufflers while listening yours NOT
yeah but thats already in u32, if u sit cockpit u listen more noize of turbo and wind than screaming engine/muffler. if u are behind car u listen more vroom (not THAT MUCH more but its more )
dunno if mentioned already, rpms sounds (still?) weird, 3000rpm in almost every car sound like 900-1100 rpm and 6000-8000 rpm sounds like 3000 rpm, dunno if i am wrong, what u think?
hi, first i love most of the new sound improvements...
the turbo sounds are really great...
the gear sound is not real life but it fits lfs sound scheme (not like when u hear a real life recorded in a synthetic soundsystem that really doesnt fit) good work here
i love the difference esp. in the XFR, if u switch from cockpit to chasecam and back u can really listen a harsh difference in agressional sound not THE much it needs to make me shivers but its one of the best improves

* whats up with the bf1? great improve here really great but there is the high freq typical f1 thing missing to sound like formula one, sounds like champcars v8 now...
generally missing some high freqs sumhow, like u forgot 3 lines in code
i love this patch very much esp. of the turbo sounds and all other stuff, but there are sum issuses that need to be patched.
in detail i mean the synthetic sound of road cars if u compare to u30 rac, fxo and surely the bf1...
fix that and the sound improves are hell awesome

so every one has his/her username that is static and can be identified at lfs (banning, stats, whatever)... so who cares if other players can see where you are from? i dont see ANY reason why this feature should be bad in any way?

this is a racing "game" and you should be proud to represent your country... just think or RL
nonsense... what if lfs screws up in fullscreen mode, then alt-tab wouldnt work if its set as Shift+F4... you cant program lfs totally idot-ideal only becouse some kids cant handle a pc and windows.
